I tackled Jameis Winston once in a JV game.
I had a 0.00 ERA heading into a game against Hueytown my senior year. I was really only a closer because no one else could play short and I only had two pitches. Jameis hit a fricking bomb off of me to straight center field. I heard the damn ball whistling when it went over my head.
We also played AJ McCarron in the playoffs.

I had future NFL player Robert Thomas on my HS team. His claim to fame is that he was the lead blocker for Emmitt Smith when he broke WP's rushing record. He played Tailback for my HS.
Best NFL'er I played against was Mike Cherry (NYG). Sacked him once. Best player played against was either Basil Shabazz or Torri Hunter (MLB)

High school, junior year:
I had the distinct pleasure of watching Tommy Casanova running the other way with a pass intended for me. I assume it was Tommy by the look on the soles of his shoes.

Larry Foster absolutely torched me for a TD.

I played against Steven Ridley and Cameron Lawrence. Steven Ridley is by far the most talented player to ever come through private school in Mississippi.

I was on the scout team when Bo Jackson was a senior at McAdory. He would just truck us like an 18 wheeler hitting a dog during practice. I’ve probably still got cleat marks in my chest where I foolishly got in his way.

Played against Michael Oher, Greg Hardy, Harrison Smith, Jacques McClendon as far as guys that spent time in the NFL. Also got my thumb busted by Ryan Karl, and played against Jacques Smith for SEC guys. My HS played against Golden Tate's HS but that was before I ever saw the field. Not bad for a middling private school in SE TN.

I used to block for Heath Evans, fullback at Auburn from ‘98-‘00? or so.
