FSU punked out in the ‘90’s, so why help them out now? I could see Miami in the SEC due to TV ratings, but I don’t care to help them out either with SEC money. So no to both in state rivals.

Don’t you mean treaty or pact? A truce means these 4 teams were in disagreement with each other then decided to stop the argument.

No, no, no and no.

GT left years ago, FSU said no, Clemson perhaps. Miami has no fanbase.

I honestly don't care anymore. If GT ever gets in, good for them. If not, sucks for them. All of the changes in the last 10-12 years or so have drastically reduced my enthusiasm for the sport overall.

Also, as long as Kirby is at Georgia, it doesn't matter what conference GT is in.

letting any or all of the ACC schools die on the vine financially with their terrible GoR would provide satisfaction.

watching any ACC football team struggle to win weekly in the SEC would also provide a satisfaction.

until USC gets serious about handling its business across 3 men's sports again in the blood feud with CU - none of the expansion really matters to me.

I absolutely wish the SEC would invite Louisville. Because I can't explain to any of you how much their fan base talks, over so little accomplishment. It's something you'll have to see for yourselves.

Better yet - attend a game a Louisville. Make sure to take pictures of the various tailgate activities. When you go back home, tell your friends.

You do realize that, outside of Alabama, they've been dominating the sport for nearly a decade... right? If anything, it proves that you don't need $100 million per year per team to compete and that the SC and UCLA moves are dumber than dog shite.

I agree in letting Clemson rot in the ACC. An over ripe banana they are, good for nothing except to be mashed.

South Carolina fans are more civilized and have more teeth than their rivals upstate.

As for Georgia Tech, they made their choice in 1963, made an overture to the SEC to re-enter the conference in the late 1970's and were told to go play on a freeway.

GT's dying if you ask me and since I'm a compassionate and forgiving person, I would say ok to the Insects coming into the SEC, which would breathe some life into their shell of an existence.

I could possibly see us adding Florida State and maybe Clemson. Don't know who you are referring to with Georgia and Kentucky.

I was in Atlanta and went to Lamar Jackson's first NCAA game (as a Frosh) against Auburn in the GA Dome.

Louisville lost, and a bunch of their fans were complaining about his performance and saying that he was not going to be good.

I was thinking to myself, "He just left HS a few months ago, and made some great plays against a talented, Will Muschamp coached defense",

tl;dr I totally believe you when you say that Louisville fans are dumb.

I'd let the bees back in too just so the Dogs can have more flexibility with the nonconference schedule. I get the vib from afar though that the young alums don't give a damn about sports, and the student body is so heavily international these days that the student section at games is generally near empty. Not good. In a sane world, I could see GT and Georgia Southern swapping conferences. Unfortunately, that's not the case. BTW, what do you think the chances are that Helton will pull Southern out of this little funk they are in?

Jefferson County, Kentucky is truly a different place. To understand it, you have to go back to the seventies - and bussing. Not the idea of your kid getting on a school bus. The idea that your kid, for two years, will go to a completely different school district.

It shaped Louisville, and the surrounding counties, for decades. It still does. Louisville is a Mid Atlantic city, much more like somewhere in New Jersey than Kentucky.

Add to that, the state of sports media under Louisville's greatest sports era during Tom Jurich as AD. The message was EXTREMELY controlled, no dissent was allowed. That is the brand of Louisville sports that most fans were brought up on.
