I doubt that will happen but who knows, maybe Clemson will not be so desirable in a decade.

GT can rot for all I care. They made their choice decades ago. They can live with it.

The idea of playing Louisville at both home arenas in basketball is appealing but besides that I couldn’t care less if they got left behind

Idc. I'm sick of hearing about conference expansion. Every article talking about eyeballs on screens. Money is going to ruin this.

I always heard these 4 schools had like a truce where they’d vote against any of their instate rivals from joining the conference. Not sure if theirs any truth to it.

Its a benefit for us, we would have a bunch more sec wins over years vs Tech and Clemson.

I hope Clempson ends up in a conference with Furman and Charleston Southern. F Clempson .

Plus we already have 1 school that molest men and A&M doesn't want any competition.

I’m fine with Tech being in the SEC but they don’t care. They trot out athletic teams to appease the older donor faction of their fanbase, but their future doesn’t care if they even have an athletic dept.

I’m one of those GA fans that doesn’t wish ill will on Tech because they are a big win for our state as a university. They do have prob 10-20k insufferable sourpusses between 35-50 that pretend they don’t care but do tremendously behind a keyboard.

We’re going to beat them by 30 for at least the next decade so In other words, whatever.

Remember the caliber of program that Clemson was back in 2010?

Watson and Lawrence helped elevate them for a bit, but their historic average is much closer to the team that WVU put up 70 on in the Orange Bowl than the Clemson of the past 5-7 years.

I don't want Louisville in the SEC. I feel like it helps further the rivalry being in different conferences.

I also don't want more expansion. That said FSU and Clemson would probably fit in better than other options. Still, could always go after UNC and West Virginia and keep the peace while the higher ups get their precious tv markets

I want ACC rivals to have sec games every week.

Then they aren’t rested up before they play Usc, Fla, Uga, Kentucky.

Thst already have tk recruit against each other. Make them play the sec all the time.

That's what I've always heard as well and I think it'd take some big money to convince members to break that agreement. No one wants their rivals getting a piece of the pie

You know why I hate you? Because you're forcing me to back up Clempson due to your poor a** research.
2009 they won 9
2010 they won 6
2011 they started a string of 10+ wins

So because they were down in 2010 that's an abnormality not a normal.

I hate you

You are a SC fan, and live there, so you probably have to hear about Clemson whether they're good or bad.

My point, as someone who has never lived in SC, is Clemson has mostly been a non-factor in football until Dabo started building momentum and finally broke the "Clemsoning" reputation in 2016 (maybe even 2015 with beating FSU and then winning a playoff game).

Yes, 2010 they may have been abnormally below their standard, but my point wasn't specifically about 2010, it is just to point out that for most of their existence they've been a non-factor, and sooner or later it is likely they'll become one again.

In the short term they'd add value due to a few years of recent high performance, but in the long run they likely will not.

I prefer the Sux wither with the ACC BUT if it ends up being the best for the conference I'd learn to live with it. It and they would still suck though.
