I think i get what you're saying and i agree. While i put a lot of blame on the coaches, things like this doesn't make me think the players were very accountable for themselves.

I said this in the other thread, after I spoke to a players mother, the first words out of his mouth everytime she talks to him is, he is tired. too worn out and sore to do anything other than recover

Good. Those kids need to get their asses in shape. Pretty annoying is shows how soft our previous staff was.

Also said they are having a parents only meeting on A Day, and it is mandated that they come. suposed to be about making the parents more accountable for their sons actions

I like this, but I am curious as to how that process works. If parents are not financially able to come and/or are too far to travel by road, does AU pay for the travel to the meeting or is that against NCAA rules?

I like the discipline CGM is trying to bring in from the onset.

I have no problem with this as long as their academic counselors and tutors are doing EVERYTHING they can to ensure they stay academically qualified.
