I'm not going to complain about an 14-17-0, 240 yard, 2TD performance by an AU QB against anybody.

I wont "Complain" about it either but I will comment. He did turn the ball over which was on him. I dont care who misses blocks, he has to hold on to the ball.

He was very poised out there which is great. He is looking more confident. But he is holding the ball too long and waiting to hit guys when they are already open. Receivers are waiting for balls to come to them instead of running under them.

Good for the stats, but it says nothing to how we will do against good competition..

On the first touchdown, the WR couldn't be any more wide open unless the defenders actually left the field
Complains that SW overthrows open receivers...SW hits open receivers...discounts SW because receivers were too open. Never change.

Agree that the fumble was on white. He had time and opportunity to secure the ball and didn't. He also does hold the ball a little long on occasion. Hopefully as he continues to gain confidence and experience, as well as chemistry with the receivers, he will get the ball out on time more consistently.

He has so many good guys to throw the ball to it is unreal. The young guys are making plays for us. The future looks good. Lets just get them in there and let them play...

I discounted their defense as being one of the worst in the nation, dumbass. I wasn't even going to bring up their shitty defense until the dumbfrick bumped this thread to make a stupid point that SW can indeed throw TDs against the sisters of the blind.

No you didn't. You complained on page 1 that SW overthrows wide open receivers. When he hits them, like you said he had to, you discounted it because of how open the receiver was. You know your posts are still up right. You can't just pretend you didn't write them.

Surprise surprise, I'm gonna disagree with you here.

On that play, dude took a clear (and uncalled) shot to the noggin. It was as clearly head-to-head as any hit I've ever seen. I heard it clearly in real-time and then I saw it clearly in slo-mo.

Yeah, we can preach all day about how you're always "supposed" to hold onto the ball, but funny things happen when another guy hits you in the noggin at full speed with his helmet.

It's no secret that a QB going to school for free should hit wide open receivers. They're supposed to hit those. Yet, when he connects on those ultra easy throws against powderpuff teams, the miserable ones are gloating that SW threw a TD. That's the problem. Save that shite for when SW throws TD's against SEC defenses.

SW played very well yesterday.

La-Mo is an inferior team, but our guys went out and played how you are supposed to against an inferior team. They are improving, in every phase of the game, and that is all we can ask for.

Ok then. I guess if the other team plays rough, its cool to fumble the ball over to them.

Cool beans..

This not being one of those occasions at all. Blitzer came untouched

Blaming Sean for that fumble is pretty absurd. There was an untouched pass rusher that drilled him.

did GC just choose not to blame something on White??

I think you can blame him a little for not holding on to it.

Interesting to see how you don't seem to recognize how a shot to the brain might create a different bodily reaction than say a "rough play" that hits a player in any other part of the body.

I pointed out in the game thread that everyone has some weird notion that I think Sean White sucks. I just think he is in the wrong offense for a guy who is just solid/not a system fit

He probably should have held onto the ball, but the blame should go to pass protection.

You were criticizing his pass comp % last week. That automatically makes you a hater.

I never criticized his pass comp%, just that >50% of his completions were bubble screens.

I was hoping to blame Leff, but it was not his fault.
