One of the genius' of Gus was developing a new play book based on the folks he has. It looks like we are running last years plays with a QB with no wheels.

so is Johnson.....he is staring at the receiver from the moment the ball is snapped....he is not stepping into his throws and that causes his balls to sail on him....he is uncomfortable in the pocket and is affected by the slightest pressure.....it does look to me that he trusts the middle of the oline to protect him enough to go through the progressions.....its obvious he has trouble recognizing coverages....I am not blaming him because he is a 3rd year player and should have been taught these basic items of the passing game....it would appear that he has not been, or he is "choking" in a game

Well, those "fans" got exactly what they wanted in 2008. I didn't hear'em speaking up a lot that year.
