From Coarch and jvilletiger25 and the chorus on this board.

BTW, who doesn't backchannel people you are potentially hiring (e.g., Zak Hill)? That was part of my standard methodology when I had my w-2 tech jobs.

I just can’t see Harsin going out on a limb and bringing in an air raid OC and trying to mesh it with his philosophy.

But I don’t know offenses to know how similar or different they really are.

The only way I could see it is if Harsin saw him as an up-and-coming offensive playcaller who he could mesh philosophies with. I don't see Harsin abandoning his multiple approach that he's had his entire career for a 30 year old Mike Leach.

He’s been mentioned by multiple Auburn beat writers as one of the candidates, but sure it’s just me and Corch.

I will still stand by my opinion on Mario. He is not a good head coach and his teams consistently lose to lower talented teams. His game day coaching is just horrible
Gotta hand it to you, it definitely seems like your take on SuperMario has been the correct one.

I really thought he had all the tools, but you’re right, his teams seem soft and frequently ill-prepared. Not a good combo.

This OC hire will tell us a lot about Harsin’s future at AU. Hope it’s a good one.

Its not that he doesnt get them up to play, its that he only does that one out of 5 times. Thats fine when you only play two hard games a year but thats not the case here

I am going to guess he may add another BBQ guy from his past

I like Harsin and would love to see him succeed here but looking at it from here, he does not seem like the kind of guy who can handle this kind of program

I still remain that Auburn is one of, if not the hardest, head coaching job in football

That was my biggest gripe about Tuberville. Seems like every season outside of 2004 we got pantsed by a team we should have beaten easily.

Tubs even said as much once, that you couldn’t expect a team to be “up” for every game.
