Dude is making $820K. We could easily double that.

ETA Hell, Bobo was making $1.3M.

Utah isn't playing for a national championship. Utah would be 6th or 7th in the SEC this year.
That’s only because they have 3 losses. Not because they’re ineligible.

Them being 6th or 7th in the SEC only validates my point

If UTAH doesn’t pony up sure he can be poached. Market rate is going up. All schools need to pony up to protect their interests

It's kind of old fashioned other then the athletes at TE. When you can get a 6'5" 250 TE or multiple and match them up against inside backers you can win with that.

Utah is in a spot where the team can meet all the team goals that Auburn can with half the competition. I don’t know why he would leave for a lateral position.

No i'm saying in any year complete chaos would have to happen for Utah to ever play for a national championship.

Nah I think one loss PAC 12 champion will be in regardless. Media is desperate for it too.

Either way. Ludwig would be a solid hire for what Harsin seems to want to do. Guess we will wait and see who the guy is now. Don't think we will be setting any scoring records under Ludwig but can control games with offensive and play to defense.

And now we get the ABC (ESPN) and Kirk lobbying if anyone loses tomorrow that shouldn't to find a way to get Ohio State into the playoffs. He's such a joke.

Salt Lake City is probably better than 99% of the cities in the south.

Oregon chokes once again.

I will still stand by my opinion on Mario. He is not a good head coach and his teams consistently lose to lower talented teams. His game day coaching is just horrible

His teams play uninspired. He may be able to recruit, we don’t really know for sure, and I think he is a solid offensive line coach, but I would take Harsin over him and I’m not a huge fan of him either.

I love all the 12 and 13 personel Ludwig uses. That's what Campbell at Iowa State does as well. However, its because we're elite at TE and our recievers are average sans Covey. Two years ago it was the opposite and Ludwig targeted the WR's and spread out more because of it. Ludwig is run first, then get it to whoever your best guys are, in whatever formations that will work.

RUMOR: So my neighbor two houses down is also in the Crimson Club and is about three notches above me (I am a lowly bottom-feeder). He told me that Harsin contacted and talked to Whittingham and Ludwig on Tuesday, but it was to discuss Zak Hill and schematics and things. ASU gave Utah a good game, and we recruited Daniels (ASU QB) hard. Harsin/Hill at Boise didn't run their QB much at all but that's a big component of Hill's offense at ASU. Could be water cooler talk but its the main reason I'd be suprised if Ludwig is a candidate. Perhaps with a large helping of wishful thinking as well.

Wish that call was to discuss Ludwigs move to Auburn. But doesn’t sound likely.

Sounds like your neighbor is scared that Ludwig is gone. If Harsin thought Hill was the guy, he wouldn’t need to discuss it with another coaching staff.

I agree. Hill was the OC at Boise St. under Harsin. Harsin knows all about him. Hopefully Harsin hit redial and talked to Ludwig after Whittingham left the room.
