I truly can't conceive of a mathematical possibility that the offense can be worse this year (with Stidham, a healthy Pettway/Johnson, young WR no longer rookies) than it was last year.

We have too many bodies to be worried about LG.
Tyler Carr, Kaleb Kim, Bailey Sharp, these guys should be competing for the position. If they're happy just to take up a spot, they probably need to jet.

Also heard on radio that James move to LG could happen anytime now.... just waiting for Wanogho to take the next step.....James wants a future in the NFL.. coaches don't believe that future is at Tackle...

Apparently Nick Coe was a beast in Saturday's scrimmage

I remember during recruiting that Alabama/other major programs tried to jump in late when they realized he could qualify.

A lot of people seemed to think he was an elite prospect whose low rating was due to qualifying issues + lack of camps

I'm not disagreeing, but what 251 posted doesn't necessarily mean anything negative, just that there is a competition.

Kim, Sharp, Horton, and Carr were all a part of the 2015 class but only the last minute decision, Horton, has gotten any praise that I know of. Not to mention the staff apparently hopes the JSU center will come in and earn the job at center. Not very comforting knowing that we have to hope a grad transfer center can come in and win the job just so all the puzzle pieces will fit. If the center and guard spots are up for grabs, you'd think those three would be making noise by now just like Horton did last year and like Kozan did as a freshman.

Nick Coe

FWIW , Tracy Turner said yesterday that Nick is the most talented guy on the roster...

so if Jeff Holland is able to rush the passer, we could have 3 elite ends with Jeff, Nick, and Marlon

Horton was the 6th man last year and is locked in at RG this year. I believe Herb Hand called him a "complete package"

I wouldn't be surprised to see us get that grad transfer OT and move James over to LG.

I don't see any scenario where Prince Tega starts. He needs more time

James certainly is not a NFL tackle. There are a number of elite college tackles that aren't even NFL tackles

Maybe they should include the negaTiger extroadinare, Jangalang, in the article.
I'm Glad Kodi is learning how to be being cool with these recruits. Give me the results though.

RG quieted his haters two years in a row. It can be done.

-Igbo was always coming to Auburn if he could.
-We probably stole Jatarvious from Tulsa and we originally wanted him on defense.

^^^^Those are not the results I'm talking about.

Robert Gallery. Another college OT that was drafted #2 overall. Considered a "bust" just because he was a decent but not elite LT but had a pretty good career at LG (solid RT too)

Paul James III should be good for us too if he can be healthy. And he's a pass rush specialist too

One of the beat writers was saying a ton of guys rave about Marquell Harrell and say he is the truth at guard

Supposedly Darius James has tools to be a good college OT, just hit or miss on consistency

Yea damn forgot about him. Sounds to me like RG is still trying to bring him along, but he should definitely be able to help us out
