I remember wanting him bad before we hired EJ.

Fair enough, he was bad in hindsight. There are a lot of things about hte Kevin Steele hire that are uninspiring, but the worst people think of him is average.

Havne't read where anyone has thought of Steele as "bad"

Ok star gazer, those sane DL players

half the year we were without our best DL, so the double teams fell to our 2nd best DL, Monty, and we had no one to pick up the pass rush slack. Based on Garner's ability to put guys in the league (which is irrefutable no matter what spin you try to throw out there) and produce coupled with guys just getting older and more experienced, why wouldn't most of those same DL improve?

and on the rushing yards, you're retarded if you think the DL alone is at fault for a bunch of rushing yards. i won't even go into all of the factors there.

Couple that with an unknown LBER Corp

Why is unknown a bad thing? We KNOW what Kris Frost was and he was bad, but he was the veteran so he played. Carlton Davis was unknown going into last year. Ended up one of the brightest spots on the team. Neal Jr was considered a mid round draftable guy acc'd to some draftniks so he's at least good. Tre Williams has played well in his spots that he's gotten opportunities. The rest is definitely unknown, but why is that bad? Even the great Bama has new players take on bigger roles each year, doesn't make them a liability...it's just an "unknown".

Trigger Tre sucks

Genes already addressed this. You're just obtuse if you can't answer this on your own.

we made the worst hire in the SEC at DC

I don't disagree. But both of those (Aranda and Schoop) were damn great hires so it's not like UT and LSU hired nobodies and Steele is behind them. And Steele is no wizard but he's a solid coordinator. Again, jimmies and joes make a great defense in college, not the scheme.

Gus wants Roc in the Slot more of then than not, and Roc still see's himself as a RB. I doubt this is even a consideration if the JSU coach wasn't his HS coach.

Kerryon is more than happy to get the ball anywhere he can, and somewhere in there is the answer.

I think Roc is going to lose $ if this goes down, plus get himself beat up.

Oh, and his GF is there now.

He is a great kid from all I hear, and has beaten some incredible odds to be where he is now. I wish the best for him, and hope more than anything he gets his degree first, and foremost.
