The difference between the waffle house retard and Saban, halftime speeches:

WHR after being up 20-0 and blowing the lead to 23-14 at half: "we're playing really well. We're in great position."

Saban after taking a 21-0 lead into halftime: "we practiced like crap this week. They better step it up!"

And that is the difference between being 7-0 and losing to a team freaking Troy beat.

Part of me really wants to hope that he can learn from his mistakes, because Sweet Jesus that offense is a thing of beauty when it is humming

But that hope has been fading faster with every dumb, inexplicable, inexcusable loss :(

He's had 5 years to learn from his mistakes. He does not have the killer instinct to be a championship coach.

Which is why it's so frustrating. Saban knows he has to adapt and evolve to stay on top. Gus refuses to do so which is why he sucks donkey dick.

Jalen Hurts isn't near as good a passer as Stidham, but Saban doesn't live in fear of Hurts throwing the ball like Gus does with his QBs.

Saban hates losing more than he likes winning. Saban and Spurrier will run your arse out of the stadium. WHR is more of a "everyone gets a trophy" type coach. He doesn't seem to be bothered at all losing.

He can't learn. He is still pissing away talent wholesale and fiddling while it burns.

They also let him go in with the first team offense, instead of a bunch of freshmen and walkons. Wonder what Willis could do with the first team O...

Best coaches are never satisfied. Saban doesn't even celebrate national championships - he leaves the stadium and goes immediately to recruiting.

I don’t think Gus’ problem is lack of a killer instinct. I think Gus’ primary problem is overconfidence.

I revert back to “we just need to get 13 seconds better” quote after Pasadena, which was about the dumbest thing I had ever heard from a coach.
