Haha my facebook wall has been full of snow pics the last couple of weeks. It is crazy how much snow you guys are getting.

Yeah all of the sports shows I watched today are calling the rule ridiculous and complaining about the coaches heading this whole thing. Not calling them pussies....but calling them pussies.

If the D subs does the O have to wait for the subs to get set and ready or can the O just snap the ball at 29 seconds.

What's really crazy is how much pull the AU v UA rivalry is having on CFB. I don't think we'd having this conversation had Auburn picked Kirby or Petrino for HC.

Saban knew exactly what he was doing coming into SEC media days last year. It's going to verrrry interesting this time around.

Rich Rod was on WJOX this morning and made a good point.

Normally, a major rules change would go to the ACA for a vote where mostly it would be one school one vote.

Nick and Bert and the other crybabies used the player safety angle to put the vote in the hands of 11 people 7 of which are women.

Rich Rod also laid out some reasons why a hurry up spread brand of football is safer than power football running iso all the time.

He also said the PAC 12 which has more teams running the hurry up than any other conference has less injuries and said Nick and Bert made a plea of emotion not data.
I guess that works when you have 7 women on the panel of 11.

They should delay this a year and go through the normal channels of a rule change and let all the coaches vote on this. If the majority of college football coaches are behind this rule change I can live with it. But sneaking it through a panel of women while not letting the coaches have a say is BS.

I was shocked this wasn't brought up at the AFCA. I knew after the beating saban took last year he wouldn't go down without a fight on this.

I don't really care about this rule tbh but I do find a lot of lulz in the fact that Bama has an almost equal number of medical scholarships as the rest of the SEC combined. Not to mention that a lot of the players they send to the NFL are damaged goods from going full contact so much in practice. If he was truly concerned about player safety he would examine his tactics but we all know that isn't why he has a problem with the HUNH.

I watched the first Q of the MSU game yesterday. We had three drives. A lot of runs and passes, some hurry up and some not. We never snapped the ball before the 30 second mark. Almost everyplay, the ref did not even get the ball reset before the 35 second mark.

This rule, if it passes, really wont do much to AUs offense.

Yup. I do think we will see a higher speed this year, though.

Still doesn't seem you understand.

And Gus disagrees with you.
