That's what his brother told me. He used the word "probably" when I was talking to him.

Johnson was at practice today. Wasn't there Wednesday though.
My speculation: Went to his grandfathers funeral and some arse hat saw he missed practice and started the rumor that he quit.

Makes me feel better that the guy hasn't quit. I am proud of him for sticking out this clusterfrick that has been his career as a QB. He is BYOG'ing and should be commended for sticking it out and doing what's right despite all the haters.
That said, he should not be in AU's QB rotation anymore.

Glad he didn't quit and everything but I sincerely hope we don't have to witness him line up at QB for Auburn again. Guy is probably a stand up person and I definitely couldn't do a better job than him on the field but he doesn't need to be taking snaps at QB.

Let me clarify, I was passing along info a buddy told me per Scout. It said that Rice was not at practice due to personal issues and that there was no indication of when he would be back. He took a doom and gloom to the news. I suppose based on the past week.

Landon has a serious issue he has to clear up at the university level. He won't be with the team until it is done. It serious but those close to him are defending him completely.
