While I'd be interested if this meant JF3 is improving rapidly or something, coaches having uncertainty deep into August has the potential to be fricking disastrous.

Especially when you have players on record that some QB needs to man up and take control of the team.

Apparently JJ hurt his throwing hand and is taking a couple days off from throwing in practice.

Why not try throwing with the other hand? He can't be any worse can he?

AU is always it's worst enemy.

IF SW is good enough, then it would be a done deal. Sounds like coaches are giving JF3 another op to get this done (Sat). Team has to be leaning one way or another, and forming their own opinions.

I also don't buy into Gus no losing the team last year baton. Team gave up more than once.

Even w/ that, I'm to the point I can almost not concentrate at work for opening day.

Jax St. It was pretty much message board fodder that team gave up. Sans Barber

Slice it like you want to. Top 10 team by recruiting services, so what's left? Coaches? Not directed @ you personally, but team folded more than once. I'd say he lost the team.

the biggest mistake that most coaches do when evaluating QBs these days is think that they can "fix" accuracy problems on a high school kid

Does Leach even understand what an exceptional coach Rhett Lashlee is?

I think we can catch him,” Lawrence said. “It ain’t difficult. You just got to be a smart football player. It’s all about pursuit angles, baby. It’s all about pursuit angles. You get him to slow down and get him to cut back. We athletic enough up front to do that.”

Sounds more like competitiveness talking than anything. Confirmation bias has you by the balls.

Why the contrariness to my posts? I haven't had the hard stuff since the 90's.

Just now--->Auburn's Gus Malzahn: 'Our quarterback has to be more of a runner this year. I don't care who it is.'
