JJ had no freaking clue and it's sad really. Sean White is going to be WAY better.

if you read Malzahns press conf where he said WAllace and Jason Smith would get reps as backups, tells me its more than JJ being benched. It maybe due to injury that was reported on the internet. Have not clue on the rumor JJ had a fight.
But i feel sure it was not due to JJ's play, or they would have replaced him the seconf half of the LSU game, or even given WHite SOME reps then.

I wish JJ had been the QB we expected, he was not. A change had to be made to save the season. Every position has to be based on production...

May not be the end for JJ anyway. Either way, nothing could be done, it's a sad situation.
I did see that someone on another AU site who is usually reliable indicated that SW was what Lashlee wanted.

So long as he can hit the check down or throw it away rather than forcing it into triple coverage we will be fine.

Once the game was lost, no need to put White in to take the punishment at LSU. Nothing good would come from that, we've seen it in the past.

He literally does not even have to be good. As long as he is average or doesn't go 3 and out every other time with a pick in between we will be much better off.

How is it bad? If JJ had shown any promise, he'd still be starting. The team knows he wasn't getting it done. JJ knows he wasn't getting it done. Does it suck? Yeah, I think everyone here was excited to see Johnson lead the team. But he hasn't done that. Doesn't matter what field you're in. If you don't do your job, you get replaced.
