This is bad

This is good. We needed to stop coddling Jeremy's precious confidence and show everyone this is a position of leadership to be earned, not a gift to be given to the most senior player on the roster.

I'm sure it was a tough decision for Gus and crew but it was the right one, even if Sean turns out to be an egg. You have to try new things if you want new results.

He probably wanted to after JSU, but wouldn't let White's first start be at Tiger Stadium.

How is this bad? JJ needs to be benched. Plenty of other schools do the same things if the first QB starts to suck.See LSU last year.

Good. If we had started Jeremy I'd imagine our team would come out flat and fall apart early.

That may happen under White but the freshness has to be exciting for the team

Not bad that he is playing, but the fact it was needed.

I agree with that.

Hate to say it but JJ needed to be benched. The talent is there but something baaaaad happened between last year's opener and Louisville. White may be worse, he may be better, but players come and go and I'm glad to see Malzahn make a decisive call on the subject. Now the team just needs to move forward and try to do the damn thing.

I put it this way. If Gus is trying to salvage this season by putting Sean into the game; this move was good.

If Gus is building for next year, this is bad. We shall see

I want to see us play a true 3-4 on D. Let Monty clog the middle, and our young LBers eat.

At least if it is Clint Moseley 2.0 its still an upgrade over JJ

Don't think Gus is the kind of coach to give up on the year. We are still 2-1 even though the first 2 wins weren't pretty.

I'd be happy with Chris fricking Todd 2.0 at this point.

I'd take JJ 10 out of 10 times over Moseley.

In the past this has been apparent even when said QB was subsequently found to suck. It does tend to give a surge of life to the team.

Preseason, Gus said that he expected this team to have some growing pains early in the season. Little did we know that we would grow so little that a dwarf would stand tall.

It is hard to believe how fast the wheels appear to be falling off this team. If we don't show against State we are going to win like 4 games this season and are going to have to fire Gus. Just like Chizik, once you lose the team, how do you get it back?
