I heard that he didn't put the flyer out, but some of his friends did.

Probably for the best he went ahead and left.

If he is found innocent he probably will come back. That said, Title IX cases are pretty much stacked against the accused so unless she recants he is out.

Technically no, in practice sort of true. Schools are under heavy pressure to stop sexual assaults that if they are choosing whose words to trust in a he said/she said, they often will side with the alleged victim.

My thought is that if the allegations can have such strict and immediate actions then the trial or hearing to exonerate or convict should be just as swift with the evidence that would be present.

Supposedly Landon would have a definitive decision by Novemberish, that isn't super unreasoanble to have a conclusion

Congrats to all the SJW's out there! You have created a situation where if you don't buy breakfast, you might go to prison.

What a dumb statement when you have zero knowledge of the incident or what you do know is all hearsay.

It's not a big fricking deal.

You're wrong. His presumptuous statement without any credible knowledge about the situation is demeaning and direspectful.

I am not saying that this is what happened with Landon.

It sounds like the two have known each other before though, from the last AUC update.

You have to make sure you REALLY know someone nowadays. Background, credit history, and how they like their eggs.

ETA: Not that I want to advocate pre-marital relations young men. Not at all.

Or alternatively, you could just not sexually assault girls

That's not what he is saying. He is saying a woman can easily turn consensual sexual activity into a sexual assault accusation. So you better know the woman...

Women never lie.

Just ask feminists.

He is our resident stalker. If he is not fond of you, he will argue the opposite point to any/every-thing I, and others say.

Either way, you are correct.

Sounds like he got caught in the moment and stuck it in. Sucks for him but based on that I don't have much sympathy for him, you gotta respect the girls wishes. This still isn't over but those texts are pretty damning evidence that he did something.

He doesn't deserve a drop of sympathy. Im sure most on here have been in that moment too, but the point still stands that when she says "no" you keep your dick to yourself.

And he probably didn't do it with the intent to rape, but the intent of getting her to say yes. If that's the scenario I feel a bit more sympathetic for him, as I'm 18 and I know people my age who would do the same thing.

wtf so basically it's all good to force yourself on someone as long as you were just hoping they would eventually say yes? jesus

The reaction you get just depends on the girl and how serious se was about saying no

If a girl says no then you stop. It honestly is that simple

he did but context is everything.

Based on those texts, the context is the woman said "no" and it was known that her stance was a "no"

sounds more like someone making a bad decision instead of someone being a full out rapist.

If you raped someone, you are a rapist. He doesn't appear to be a predator/ danger to society if that's what you mean.

Yea that's what I meant. He did something bad but he's not really a danger to anyone.

"Caught in the moment and stuck it in"??!?!?!?!

That's what animals do.

Human beings, however, *should* have better control over themselves.

Except to the next girl who says "no"?

Perps are almost always contrite when they see the possibility of getting caught staring them in the face. But rarely contrite when/if they get away with it and presented with another opportunity.
