Right now kayak.com is showing round trip tickets from Nashville to LA for less than $300. I think if you do your research and plan it out well you could do it for less than 1K a person.

Going through the Auburn official travel packages, they start at 1300 a person for airfare and rooms along with a few trinkets. Tickets are around 1300 to 1400 each on the cheapside on Stubhub right now, i just checked about 30 minutes ago.

So even if it costs you 1k a person to get there and stay, it will cost you at least $750ish for each ticket if you buy them now unless you are pretty big into TUF or have good connections.

Me, my wife and another couple are flying out of Atlanta on 1/2 to Vegas. We are getting on a Auburn party bus ($75 per person) Monday morning at 7:00 AM and driving to Pasadena. The bus will take us back to Vegas after the game. We are flying from Vegas to Atlanta Tuesday morning.

Anyone else flying into Vegas?

Flying out of Nola Sunday and back in on Tuesday. $1700 for four flights and $280 for 2 nights at the LAX Sheraton. Ticket budget is 2k for four. Can do it for a grand a person if you just shop around a little bit.

I expect we'll leave out on January 2nd and be up there for a few days. Probably go to Disneyland or something.

Guys this is actually happening. I still can't get over the Georgia win, much less anything that has happened since.

My wife and I just had the conversation… It lasted about 25 seconds.

We are going

We will probably do the same thing we did when we went to the 2010 game. Fly to Vegas, rent a car and make a trip out of it…

Well, I live here so I just need game tickets. I don't know where to start. Is it even possible to buy tickets on the 11th when they are released to the public or is this only for "certain" contributors, etc...

Who knows details on stadium transport in Pasadena? Or is this a must get rental car situation?

I did some reading and saw something of gameday shuttles and a metro line

Where the hell are you guys finding these flights? From ATL/Bham everything I find is like $600+ and usually includes like a 17 hour trip with what must be like a 10 hour layover. This is pissing me off.

I don't think anything is going to go down except for tickets. If you are thinking about going I would book the flight asap.

Flights aren't coming down and will only get worse as time moves closer to the game.. that's flying 101 In this case you have a high rolling NC game that just adds to the price

Yeah we don't have tickets for the game. Won't pay a crazy amount for them either. Surely there is some where to watch outside of the rose bowl?

We're going without tickets. Flying out the Saturday before from Bham to Vegas, 1 stop in Dallas for $415 per person roundtrip. Booked the flight Saturday night.

Staying in LV until Monday, rent a car for 3.5 hour drive, and have hotel in Burbank for $179 for one night. Flying back out of Vegas on Wednesday.
