Most mentally tough basketball team I've seen at Auburn in a loooooong time.

Damn, if that outlet got through, we might have had a chance to get a decent 3 off before half.

Our team will be better than I thought if we keep playing with this swagger

About as good of a first half as we could have hoped for

Bowers was 2 pts and a Rebound away from a double double in the first half despite not getting any calls underneath.

Hell of a half for Auburn.. Got down ten and fought back like an experienced squad. Not many dumb shots like we saw against Milwaukee in the first half. The defense held up pretty well considering we are short 5 inches at almost every position

Bowers needs to learn to use his shoulders to keep his shot away from shot blockers. He got away with going through JuCo posts but this is big boy bball and these guys can take the bump.

Gosh this is fun to watch...I was big to cut the deficit to 4 just before half. KC is having a great game. The team seems mentally tough, almost as if they aren't looking at the scoreboard when down by 10.

The juco ball just oozes out of Bowers. Hopefully he learns. Great half though. Could have gotten away from us.

That will come with time. I imagine this will be a wakeup call for him that he will have to elevate his skills in the post with better competition.

Still better than any lost player we've had in a very long time

I was forgetting we were down 10 because we don't look outmatched except when they use their size advantage. Definitely feel like we deserve to be in the court with them

There's something about this team already that seems different than years past.

Exactly. He keeps facing up then leaning into the defender as he shoots. It makes stuffing his shot easy, and you won't get the foul calls when you're initiating contact at close range.
