Although I agree with you that Cam acted badly and Needs to grow up, and doesn't deserve to be defended for his actions. The stuff that people wrote in the comments in this article and to him directly is beyond disgusting, and his actions don't give them a pass.

This legitimately pisses me off more than him acting like a pussy after the SB
Me too. But by some logic in this thread, we shouldn't care. I am reading that we shouldn't try to paint him with our brush, or try to fit him in our box and expect him to write like we would write.
I'm not young, but I'm not an old frick either. I think Cam acted like a baby after the SB by answering questions in a pouty way and then walking out prematurely. And I don't care about him hearing adjacent interviews with the winning team.
Did his words answer some of the questions in a reasonable way before he got up and left? Sure. Was his attitude ok for someone who lost? Guess that depends on what you think is right. Me? Well, neither my 2 daughters nor my son will ever display an attitude like that - more than once - while they are under my guidance. I won't let them. Because I think it's bad character. I know an attitude like that will get you bounced out of a professional job pretty quickly. And won't win you much respect outside of work either - unless, apparently, you can play QB like a mother fricker in the pros.
So to me, if I think a 9, 7, and 4 year old should all behave better than that, then yes - I think a college graduate who is 26 should too. Black, white, green, or purple. No matter the profession or excuse.

I like Cam as much as any straight Auburn fan can, but the way he acted after the SB was disappointing. And his grammar on social media makes any sane person want to ram their fist through a wall.

Is it weird that I think both beatbammer and Lanier are right?
Cam gets a lot of hate because he is a cocky black guy that talks a big game and for the most part backs it up. It's very easy to tell the racist commentators because they will throw in "classless thug" when anyone with half a brain knows Cam is far from a thug. That's a derogatory termed used usually towards black people. However, it's not a "white person thing" to stand up and answer questions after a tough loss. Everyone has to do it and so stand up there answer them and then move on with your life. No one is asking him to be happy about the loss but they are asking him to follow through with his obligations in a professional manner.
Honestly I was disappointed mainly because Cam gave his haters more fuel. He could have won over a lot of people by handling the media better. Overall I don't think his reactions were that bad as he did congratulate the Broncos and Peyton Manning. But you can't walk out like that just because you are unhappy. It wouldn't fly in another work environment.
With all that said I think the discussions around it all have gotten a little ridiculous. The fact that there are still articles being written and discussions about that one moment is kind of crazy

This is pretty much exactly what I was getting at. The haters are out there and they are on his arse already. He cant keep feeding them.
