re: Letter to sportswriter about Cam

I find it funny people are still salty about that

Poor grammar, racist, and butt hurt about Cam. All signs point to a Bama fan.

This is what Cam told the media after the SuperBowl:

I see nothing unclassy or inaccurate in his statements.

So what the butthurt amongst us are so pissed at Cam about is that he wasn't AMAZINGLY HAPPY after playing poorly and losing a SuperBowl and that he shorted the media about 20 minutes of their allotted time.

I dont feel I need to. But why do you constantly feel the need to point out that people are racist and he is being unfairly treated because he is black. That is basically the point you are trying so hard to prove.

No one here is trying to make him conform to anything. Just act like a professional and not be a child when he loses. He is getting paid a ton of money to be a professional. Not to just do as he pleases as long as he wins then when he doesnt, just be a bitch.

He knew he was already under the microscope because of his antics through the year and when he was put on the spot after the game, he just walked out like a child

Never thought I'd see the day when EVEN Auburn fans were arguing about Cam. I think we've reached critical mass

He is upset and continues to poke the race card in and out. Pale Rider, etc.

He cant take the fact that not everyone is going to accept Cams actions, even if they are big fans of his (as I am). The truth of the matter is, he has not handled it well. He walked out of the press conference without pretty much saying anything in the biggest game of his life. He was truly unprofessional.

Listen, Tiger Son, don't be projecting your newfangled kiddy trends on me.

This letter is not representative of the vast majority of people and this type of thought is not rampant as the article would have you believe. Of course the letters received will be skewed, it's the nature of the business, all of the crazy folks want to spout off their nonsense.

With that said, Cam being black is not why people hate him. Get a fricking grip guys. It's how he carries himself that rubs people the wrong way. Countless black athletes are the most respected in the business, heck just look at Bo, Barkley, and Thomas - pretty much everyone loves them. That's the easiest of examples due to their AU affiliation, but there are so many more.

ETA: I'm not saying the hate is warranted. Cam does so much good off the field, but the sad thing is most don't know/see that.
