Tom Herman is looking bright and shiny. Hopefully we fail before Texas A&M.

That is typically what a "leader" does no matter what the business/industry.

You are pulling that straight out of your arse.

One positive I'll note is that in 2013, he seemed rather involved with the offense on the sideline...more than most GA's would be.

Again though, that entire season consisted of pretty much calling one play over and over again. When our O-line is significantly downgraded, and QB a question mark, we'll probably need to be more thoughtful about our play calling.

You'd rather have a bunch of assistants whining "call the play I drew up coach" all the time?

Sure he will just like dameyune did.

No, what id like to have is something other than 3 yards and a cloud of dust. It was easy to disguise the bad play calling in 2010 and 2013 when all we had to do was run the same play over and over again.

If you only have to call one play wouldn't that be good play calling?

I run 6 plays, split veer, like novacaine. Give it time, it works

On the radio in Mobile they were talking about CKB getting the CO-OC title. They brought up the fact that his contract at ASU stated that if he were to leave for a promotion there wouldn't be a buyout and that is why he got the CO-OC title.

When his salary comes out and likely around TWill for being lowest salary on staff people will stop freaking out about the Co-OC title

We give him an OC and we don't have to pay the buyout directly or indirectly. It also allows Kodi not to get a reputation for job hopper as he can rightly justify a "promotion"

Well you better get comfortable with Kodi being part of the OC round table. If we win and Lashlee leaves, you better believe Burns/Herb Hand will be Co-OC with Burns taking a Lashlee type workload

Someone tell me why GM would name Burns Co-OC? I can see him as WR, but what credentials or experience would get him a Co-OC position?

Is it he is like the executive assistant to LAshlee and does all the prep work or dirty work for him as he learns the position? That is the only thing i think he got it for...

Any real info as to why?

I love when people ask a question that has been discussed and answered ad nauseam just a few posts above

Gus has been friends with Herb Hand a long time. He did a pretty mediocre job at Penn State, but because he's friends with Gus it's ok I guess.

Penn State had a depth on Oline that would have made Florida look stacked.

Hand was hired for more than just to coach the OL too. He'll have major input on the offense and the whole run game.
