Does every OOC forum talk so much crap about the South when they are about to play an SEC team? Their threads are full of dismissing the SEC and some pretty half-baked jokes about Alabama being stupid/racist.

I've been through Kansas. There is a reason it's called a 'fly-over state'. Alabama may not be much, but Kansas isn't exactly a fount of cosmopolitan culture either.

There's no state I've been to that's more boring of a drive from east to west.

Oh, I'm proud of being from Alabama. We at least have an exciting history. It's racist and backwoods history, sure, but dammit - it's mine.

In their 3 games with the former middle of the pack Big12 teams that joined the SEC-SEC-SEC, they've allowed an AVERAGE of 49 points per contest. I'd say your sources are pretty accurate.

And we're 2-1 in those games.

Worked there for a while recently. Wichita is pretty decent I guess but everything else west of Kansas City is pretty fricking awful.

Worried about Leggett. He's going to the NFL soon. Other than that, I think we should have everything covered.

Snyder going to throw us for a few loops though.

It was pretty funny stuff. I have to admit they do a great job of keeping with the satirical nature of their posts. The one AU fan Sak sure does bite like a starved fish.

I did and I'm still nervous. K-State allowed 28 straight points to Iowa State in the first half. But then turned around 180 degrees to win in the 2nd. It was the weirdest game I've seen this year

It was but I expected more from KSU.

AU will struggle with that QB running.

Noon kickoff at an away stadium vs. primetime game at home. I know on paper we're far and away better...just the circumstances around this game scare me.

All that and Coach Snyder being one of the better coaches in college football history it should damn well scare you. We should beat them soundly but to not be at least mildly concerned means a person does not know how to respect an opponent.
