-Mackenro isn't a safety. Who's going to backup Therezie at Star if he's playing Safety?

the STAR position is a SAFTEY position...

Also, you can dang sure LOCK DOWN a WR when he is in your zone...cant believe you are actually arguing this point...

Actually a hybrid of LB/Saftey/DB (You can add DB with Therezie).

Its a hybrid S/LB. Holsey never plays at this position so why would Mackenro need to step up because of his injury? Is Therezie moving to Safety? Your statement didn't make sense. Just admit it.

I can't believe what you are arguing...it doesn't even make sense. A safety provides help for the corners so I don't see how they can LOCK DOWN anybody.

Mackenroe can play all three positions...not sure what point you are trying to make...

You made the assumption that i believed Mackenroe was backing up Josh...which i never said

You actually made the connection with your original post and when you realized you made a mistake, you are now trying to back off of your statement. Just stop and go to bed.

Coach Johnson says good th ingsa bout Jake Holland so clearly he employs some type of coach speak. That said holsey is good but easily one of the more replaceable DDb's. Smith would be a solid replacement and expected replacement

You don't hear Holseys name because he usually does his job but his job is providing over the top support not man coverage lock down. QBs therefor don't throw away from him unless he throws to only half the field (clearly not the case) He is not a top tier Sec DB at this point as a SO

You have no idea what you are talking about and it is evident in your posts. Your posting style makes me wantto punt a kitten as well which makes it worse.

He hasn't played safety in his career at Auburn. He probably can but he doesn't.

Why else would Mackenro need to step up like you said he would? He'll have the same role he's had all year. You implied that he would have an increased role due to Holsey's injury. Tell me why you think that's true.

You aren't even doing that. You made your original statement and haven't said anything of worth since.

We will be playing more Safeties on the field than normal...i expect to see more dime packages with Therezie as the LB/spy and Mackenroe in the star position hence the reason to pick up the slack...

Dime package does not include more safeties. Dime replaces LBs with more corners.

quote:

Therezie as the LB/spy

Even if Therezie was going to spy, he would do so from the Star position not as a LB. But Johnson said we probably won't be spying Manziel.

He will have the same role as usual.

But at least you're actually making points now.

You are seriously annoying asf...i just told you i expect to see Therezie lining up at LB in the dime package, therefore more safeties on the field...Makenroe will be getting more snaps this game, therefore he needs to step it up...now stop arguing for the sake of arguing
