I've always heard that Whitehead was a good student, good team leader...baffling.

I have no inside information, but I hate stories like this.
Per PM---Whitehead had a verbal confrontation with an Auburn assistant coach, resulting in his suspension. His future beyond Thursday’s game is uncertain.
Guy was having a breakout year... Surprising is all I can say.... Hope he can work his way back on the team.

The info was not premium, I do not have a 247 account.

Disappointing would be an understatement with this kind of behavior coming from a senior and the supposed leader of the secondary.

What the hell are you guys smoking?
Whitehead is not even close to the 'JH of the secondary.' He's a leader of the secondary both in coordination and playmaking and if you've watched any of our games this year you know that.

Beyond the suspension I don't like the fact we have players yelling at coaches. I hope we're not losing the locker room a la Mark Richt.

Yep, I don't think he should be kicked off the team. I hate the news got out to be honest. It's embarrassing for Whitehead, and even more so for the coaches. Run him hard and don't play him for two games.

As of now, this seems like an isolated incident. Everything can't always be sunshine and unicorn farts. You spend enough time with someone, eventually they are going to do something to piss you off.

The VERBAL confrotation was on the field and happened Tuesday, not in the locker room (not sure that matters). Still on the team, but suspended indefinetly. No-one knows for sure, could be gone and could be back next week. My Guess is that he will be back for LSU.
