I completely expect to get a lot of downvotes, but I think everyone is overreacting just a little bit.

Now I do come from a complete posibarner perspective, where I refuse to get this worked up in the middle of the season and just give up. I have always been a Gus supporter; he recruits well, he has brought a top 10 defense to Auburn, and we know what his offense is capable of, although I admit it has regressed over the years. I am as close as I've ever been to saying, it's time to move on, but I am going to wait until after the UGA and Alabama games and after the season has finished.

I'm as mad as anyone that we lost, but it isn't as ridiculous as everyone is making it out to be. First off, LSU is a talented team. They have playmakers all over the field, especially on defense. That team that beat us wasn't the same team that lost to Troy. They had their backs against the wall and responded. It took a 4th down TD, dropped INT, and punt return TD to beat us. They will finish the year strong in my opinion.

As for Auburn, the loss sucks. A lot like some of the losses under Bowden, Tubberville, and Chizik. But it hasn't changed my perspective on the team that much. I expect us to bounce back and get a little more aggressive/desperate on offense. I expect to beat Arkansas and Texas A&M and I think we have a great shot against UGA (they have not been tested yet in my opinion). I just feel like a month from now we could be playing Bama for the SEC West again and we will be back in the same boat: Negas will be rooting for us to lose so we can get rid of Gus, Posi's thinking we have turned the corner and can take them down, a few on the fence hoping for the best.

I know it's long, but I'm still willing to wait and see, honestly because I get too excited every year to give up half way. WDE!

No.

I wish Auburn could just fire Gus Malzahn and Jay Jacobs. Bring the entire defensive staff back. They have done a phenomenal job.

Yes it is, did you watch the game?

It's also far from the first time something similar has happened though this is by far the worst example.

About the responses I expected. But it's all perspective. Losing to LSU at the beginning of the year, wouldn't have sounded so awful; a lot of people predicted it could happen. If we were in the East we would still have a great shot at an SEC championship. My biggest gripe is that Gus hasn't shown he can get the team to respond in these situations, but the season isn't over yet, because we lost a tough road game in the SEC.

Nearly a third of their fanbase didn't show up. The Tiger Rant was the most depressing place I've seen. We were favored in Death Valley for the first time in 18 years. Seriously go frick yourself troll

I'm posibarner co-captain and do some get uber emotional? Yep

But Gus doesn't have what it takes for the big time football we expect here.

I didn't read your book of post but your title was sufficient.

I would only want to replace gus if we can get chip. There aren't too many sure improvements out there.

We have scored a total of 9 points in the second halves of our last 5 loses combined. That is 100% coaching. frick gus

Fair enough, and it probably is time to try something else out. And I really hope that the next hire is a homerun, because it is way to easy to make a bad coaching hire nowadays.

But college football is weird. LSU is now on a high and controls their own destiny by beating 2 ranked teams, after losing two awful games. Alabama has set the standard so high in our conference that it takes perfection to not only to win a national title, but to win our conference, and beat our biggest rival.

Worst LSU team we've played in 15 years. They are young on defense, banged up on o-line and RB, and have a Sean White clone at QB. That was an absolutely inexcusable loss. Final score should have been 45-10, AU. Gus let his foot off the gas, got conservative, and played not to lose instead of to win. The same bullshite cost us a NC in 2013 and he needs to go, immediately.

People being upset with gus has little to nothing to do with bama. We can do better but we need a full commitment from the AD ok Jay?
