You think UA made Saban great? That is so fundamentally ridiculous I don’t even know where to start.
I would agree that an atheltic department can put good coaches in a position to, at least ostensibly, produce great teams. And if you think Auburn’s is cultivating a culture of greatness, I would strongly disagree. I think THEY think they are, in the same way that Alabama thought they were in the mid-2000s.
I’m not saying we’re gonna go out and hire a scrub, we’ve got top 10 talent on the roster and are in a position to win a lot of games if we had anyone who could call a game reasonably. But, until we change the culture of the athletic department, I don’t think much is going to change.
