This is from Tiger Talk:

quote:

Says after LSU loss "our guys have really bounced back. Tuesday we had our best Tuesday practice. ... Very solid practice Wednesday and Thursday."

He's headed towards a Butch Jones level of fake positivity and nonsense...

BEST TUESDAY PRACTICE EVER!!! Print the shirts.

I'll be completely honest, this is the first time I can remember except maybe 2012 that I have lost all interest in AU football.

I don't know if Gus is the most stubborn or paranoid person on the planet, his ego is too big, or honestly, and I say this in all seriousness, he's on the spectrum.

Tommy would lose a game we were supposed to win, like LSU, but you could also have faith that we'd have a chance in the games we weren't supposed to.

We will not beat UGA or Bama with a game plan and play calling like we saw in Clemson and LSU, and barring a miracle, we will lose those two for the fourth year in a row.

Everything you said and especially this:

Btw after losing uga and Bama it won't even seem like it bothered him. Like the 3 times before.

When this Clown speaks, it’s like when the government mouthpieces start spewing complete lies. Just like them, he is literally laughing all the way to the bank.

I look for a damn DOGFIGHT with the Hogs.

Tired, tired, TIRED of the same ole’:

“No doubt”

“We had our best practice”

“We got our edge back”

“That’s between he and I”

Keep Trolling you overpaid High School Clown!

\And there is absolutely nothing (short of Gus not being on the sideline)that leads me to believe the playcalling will change.

It is so refreshing to hear this. I'm glad this week has been better than all the rest.

The UT people have been infinitely more patient than AU people will ever be. if Butch Jones had been an Auburn coach his arse would have been gone 2 years ago.

At least by this time in '12 we were all pretty certain that a change was coming. We were already 1-5 and coming off back-to-back double digit losses to Arky (who was 1-5, had lost to LA-MO and had been beaten by Bama and TAMU by a combined score of 110-10)and Ole Miss (who came in with a 17-game SEC losing streak)After dropping two more to Vandy and TAMU (the latter being the worst loss in Jordan-Hare history) we were already speculating on the coaching search.

This season has more of a 2008 feel to me. This time 9 years ago we were 4-3 and had just been beaten by an equally shitty Arky squad, and the vultures were circling - but we were pretty much resigned to the idea that Tubs would get a chance to turn it around in '09 if he could salvage another couple of wins (he couldn't, so he didn't).

Our schedule was much more favorable this year than either of those seasons, but should Gustav be rewarded with another year just because he's lucky that the rest of the SEC is so lousy?

Which would be the first time that happened in AU history, BTW.

Even Barfield managed to best UGa a couple of times during his otherwise miserable tenure (well, technically a tie in '78 and a win in '79) and that was while their GOAT HC was there. Even in Shug's worst stretch we always pulled a W from at least one of our two biggest rivals every three years or so.

Gustav has a chance to make history.

I would have mad respect if he came out and said “we’re pissed as hell and this is my fault”. Nope...everything good over here. No big deal. We control our destiny. These guys are still young. We will get better. GTFO

Losing to UGA and Bama again would mean that an entire generation of undergrads would never get to experience the feeling of one (one!) win against either rival while in school.

It’s sad. I’m not angry, I’m not melting, I’m just sad.

The rub is, what coach would want to jump into Gus’ position with Bama showing no signs of stopping and UGA on the upswing? I really hope Gus’ “aw shucks” complacency and JJ’s general frickery hasn’t ushered in the dark ages for the medium term. Auburn fans really don’t deserve the athletic department we’re currently stuck with.

That's a bullshite excuse. The past 2 Auburn coaches have been to the NC game. 3 of the past 4 Auburn coaches have had undefeated seasons. 5 of the past 5 Auburn coaches have won the SECC. Auburn can make any good coach into a great one, just like uat has Saban. Before he got to uat, he was an 8-4 average coach with one spectacular season.
