re: I'm still mad. Official meltdown thread

I'll tell you what actually makes me mad, you won't have another season of 3-9 followed by a great hire, tough off season, the A&M shocker, the Georgia catch, the Kick Six against two time reigning national champs, the 59 points at the SECCG and a chance to knock off a rapist and his trash talking buds.

All of that made for one hell of a season for the ages but it was lost. Just lost. That and the 8 SEC streak, 5 state of Alabama streak, SEC always wins streak, score 30 and win streak, Vegas was wrong about every BCS game streak for this year and I'm sure there's others.

I'll say we're not the only ones hurting. Malzahn and those players are pissed, and they will work their @sses off this offseason. They will be out for blood!

If cam wins the SB, it's going to make me even more mad we could come up with a stop to put a bow on a Auburn owns the world year.

This morning I am mad. Just need to vent.

I wish I could see things like you do. I've been better since I was mad, haven't been sad today. time will heal.

hell think about fsu, they went to the first three bcs ncg and won one. I doubt they remember the two loses today.

but now I'm mad.

I melted yesterday IRL, here's something to cheer you up:

We grieve in stages. Lanier is just taking his time with the anger part. It is his grief and we should all be supportive. When you just start sobbing without thinking about it, we will be at Sadz stage. Then acceptance arrives and the Spots will be spawning as we hear the Spring practice reports of Nick Marshall making accurate passes to DQ, we hug it out and Lanier is back!!

I burnt off much of my frustration on the hell walk back to old town pasadena. My only comforting thought was that there were FSU fans bitching about the walk too.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

It's almost a week later and I still can't watch any sports shows because I am afraid they will talk about the game and I will have to relive it. I get my SI last week and it's plastered all over the cover. Going to see my family Dr. this week, I have been around him my entire life, and you won't meet a bigger FSU fan. I am dreading that. fricking frick!

You know what it is odd. After we won in 2011 I tuned in to all of the radio stations to hear the discussion on the game and bask in the aftermath. Barely talked about. They already had moved on to NFL playoffs.

This year, no different. They mention it. The FSU grad on the radio here in Atlanta enjoyed it but didn't rub it in. NFL playoff talk.

It's like Christmas for a 10 year old, 12 months thinking and talking about it but by 9am Christmas morning it's time to start talking next year.

This year thankfully that's the case but it's hard to listen or read recruiting news when the whole point of recruiting is to make a good team that, sigh, wins a national championship. Yeah. Thanks for reminding me what this is all about, and in a backhanded way, what didn't happen last Monday.
