Our terrible defense + Nick Fairley shut him down.

I was making fun of the people who are about to jump on this board.

I think he gives JJ a role, my guess is the wildcat formation with KJ at QB, JJ is also in the game. Probable some type shift with JJ getting the ball and throwing a long bomb.

Our terrible defense that gave up 449 yards that game?

You mean the one that Football Outsiders said was #8 in the country once you adjust for strength of schedule?

or do you mean the team that was #9 in the country in rushing yards per game (#5 vs FBS winning teams)?

or maybe the team that was #10 in scoring defense vs AP Ranked opponents?

You ask too many questions, but I'll try to answer them.

I'm not sure of the yardage we gave up, because it's been a while, but if it was the guys wearing the Auburn jerseys, that's the defense I was talking about.

I guess. I don't know who "Football Outsiders" are or what they said. But if they were talking about the Auburn defense that played against Oregon in the BCS Champ game, then yes.

I don't think our defense ever rushed the ball in the 2010 season, because technically that would make them our offense. Trick question.

As long as that team is the Auburn Tiger defense that played in the BCS Championship game against Oregon. If the "the team that was #10 in scoring defense vs AP Ranked opponents" is someone other than the Auburn Tiger defense from 2010, no.

Chip Kelly's team averaged over 49 points a game before we held them to 19. No one thought we had a defense that had any chance to stop them. Revisionist history might prove otherwise, but the pregame talk, didn't have us stopping them.

Make a change at center and open up the intermediate and short passing game with multiple receiving options.

Put Ricardo Louis in at QB and go five wide hail marry, about ten yards down the field they cut or go. Max Mickey Mouse power.

I didn't play football by the way, but I had extensive experience in the early 2000s on the play station. Fwiw.

Fun fact:

Peyton Barber is on track to have the fifth best season for a RB in AU history in terms of rushing yards despite having not logged a carry in 4 quarters worth of play this season

But there is a trick. The DBs won't know which one of them will intercept it. It's a trick.
