True. If the TAMU game is Sean's from the first quarter to the fourth, I believe we'll have a shot.

What did you see in SW that make you think that? He completed over the middle passes against a prevent?

He played well when he got time to throw the ball. Our OL is a steaming pile of shite. In the first half we couldn't run the ball and gave up sacks when we tried to throw it. That isn't on any of our QB's.

He's overthought himself into stupidity.

He's not Tom Brady obviously. But he made the best throws. The throw to Kerryon was perfect. He has poise. He doesn't freak when blitzed. He indisputably showed the best ability to move the ball. And think about this, the defense held the Clemson Tigers, and what is honestly probably a better offense than what they had last year to 20 points. If they do that all year we won't need Tom Brady to win football games. We'll just need Chris Todd and I think Sean and Todd are very comparable and Sean probably has more ability

If JJ simply doesn't play QB tonight, then this game is winnable. Gus needs to get on the straight and narrow from here on out. I'm not in favor of changing coaches for fun ever few years, but the offensive game plan tonight was pants-on-head retarded.

VVVVVVV

i'm ok with JF3 if that's what it takes (OL won't/can't block otherwise).

What most on here fail to realize about the Oline...they need help o create blocking angles. A running threat at QB creates those angles. It is why the 2013 oline seemed so good even though only 1 member of that line had NFL talent. SW doesn't create those angles for an Oline of our caliber. JFIII is our best option. If you can't run the ball you have zero chance of winning.

FYI...JJ clearly moved the ball he best in the 1st half. JFIII was largely responsible (or at least his legs being on the field) for getting us into he red zone twice of the four trips in the second half. One other trip was a turnover. SW did make nice throws to the middle of the field when they went prevent.

They ran fine in the second half when they finally settled on Sean.

In the red zone, I agree.

Watch the game again...They ran best when JFIII was in the game. SW came in on 3rd downs.

KJ ran the touchdown because SW is to short to make plays in the red zone since his legs aren't much help.

They did at first until Clemson realized JF3 is only being used to creat running lanes. Once they figured that out all they had to do was have a guy sit on the zone read to make JF3 give and have everyone else crash in on the middle. I agree JF3 could be a weapon but he's going to have to show that he can at least a little bit of damage down field.

It was pretty obvious that JFIII doesn't know much of the play book. When they tried to leave him in and change the play, he had no clue how to get them lined up and run the right play.

that and he needs to start keeping on read options a little more

but he needs to play some games to learn it

he isnt going to do shite plugging him in once in awhile

nick was so efficient at it because he could keep, he could hand off, he could throw deep, but he couldnt do it all from the start. he had gel with the system

our offense just isnt build for pocket passers. I dont care what the frick gus did at tulsa, he's not capable of doing it here apparently because he refuses to try.

let jf3 run the offense and learn.

I lost belief in Gus last season when I realized he's not smart enough nor tenacious enough to be an elite HC. This game today was only an continuance of what I suspected.

I wanted to believe we'd come out tonight and light Clemson up and make headlines like Houston did, but instead I saw two clowns try and run a Div I offense.
