How does a QB find a groove when they are rotated out every other play? Our offensive line was routinely blown up on a lot of plays. Difficult to be efficient on offense when defensive lineman are in the backfield before the shitty play that was called develops . All offseason to scheme and it's the same old shite. The defense played hard and deserved better.

I'm convinced Jeremy Johnson has pictures of Gus. Sean white looked ok I guess but he made some really bad plays too.

I bet he is really proud of the FB whirly bird. Wtf is that shite

I think Gus has ADHD.

He just can't focus. The crazy thing is that he did not rotate the RBs.

He doesn't seem balanced.

Gus is being ridiculed nationally. Which is a good thing because everyone saw it for what it was, a confused coach confusing his players that could have won.

The qb is supposed to be the leader of the team, the general on the field so to speak. When you run 5 qb's in and out of a game, pull qb's immediately after a successful play and generally treat the position as if it's just another position on the field to run guys in and out, you rob the team of a leader. I think white can be a serviceable qb, but not in the situations Gus is putting him him. We have four downs to get a first, but essentially we only have one down because Gus insists on wasting first and second down on complete buffoonery. If I'm White, I tell Gus if you pull me out of the game one more time and kill another drive, don't put me back in because I'm gonna look around to transfer after the game. Seriously, frick Gus and anyone else who has a hand in or supports the embarrassment of a game plan we had last night.

Not me. I gave up on him 1.5 years ago.

Don't.

Tennessee and LSU could be looking for new coaches this offseason.

Texas might be as well.

If Gus looks this bad over the next four home games, we need to fire him, use an interim, and begin the coaching search now in order to establish with the best candidates that we will give them whatever they want to come fix this program.

This plan didn't work so well for USCe.

This seems like a pipe dream, but if the season tanks, it would be nice to see JJ and Gus be shown the door. This way, we'll have enough time to find a new AD, who will then be able to hire the new HC.

If we simply promote someone from within again to be the new AD, I'll quit associating myself with Auburn athletics.

Didn't that genius Jacobs recently give Gus a contract extension?

Yup.

It's fricking lunacy.

Even if I was being pressured to offer him an extension, I would have asked this question - "What's the plan to fix the offense this season now that we've hired better defensive coordinators?"

If Gus said, "Well, we're going to play three QBs including Jeremy Johnson and switch them out at random no matter how well they're playing plus we're going to give Cox a few plays that involve him doing a tornado spin move in the backfield before going up field...."

I would have said, "LOL No."

I didn't like that we gave him an extension after 2013. A coach should prove his system works over the course of a few seasons before you begin thinking extension.

Damn, I wish Texas hired him away from us.
