Are you making a point or do you actually feel the economy is getting better?

Both. We have had several months of positive indicators in a row.

I don't know, I've tried to flow under the radar since around 2010. It's easier to have a discussion with someone when they don't know who your favorite team is. When they do, they usually call you a "Barner" or homer. I know Robot Santa does the same, except he sports the SMU logo.

After every recession there is always a recovery. This is a pretty weak recovery so yes it's improving. I don't think it's all Obama doing here he can't control the market nor can he force consumer spending. He can cut spending though, which hasn't been done and we are 16 trill in debt and there are tax hikes possibly coming at the end of the year. How is Obamacare going to be paid for?

Exactly, the recession ended in 2009. About the same time the stimulus was passed. The weak recovery goes back to the idea of a liquidity trap. Which is why I think we need a change in tone from President Obama.

Cutting spending removes aggeragte demand from our economy in the short term. How is that going to help now?

Taxes that are already being paid for. Plus some cuts to the growth of Medicare. You know the $700 billion that Romney claimed would kill old people.

What will happen with the Financial Cliff..

Should we just let the Bush Tax Cuts expire? Let the austerity measures kick in?

Do that and the economy will go in the tank.

Not if obama starts talking positive, there will be no financial cliff.

Same here, but my user name gives my affiliation away real quick.

And I love the Heels.
