Neither do I.

Hell, the trees aren't getting rolled for much else recently.

Can't say it really upsets me because they were going to get rolled either way. Having said that, the next four years will be interesting. When I get my degree in two or three years, I can't wait to see the state of the economy.

You serious Clark?

Originally that was exactly what it was meant for. This new bullshite version where we roll for everything is fricking gay.

Neither Obama or Romney gives a frick about anyone at Auburn, so I think it's pretty lame.

So if one of our other sports won a national title, we shouldn't roll Toomer's? Sorry, but Auburn has an athletic department, not just one program.

In a year or two when we get a NCAA tourney bid for the first time under Barbee, I'm rolling Toomer's on Selection Sunday.

Fine by me tbh. I'm sure it'd be done if mitt had won.

Seems like someone posted last week that this would happen if mitt won. I wonder if it was in response to that, or if it would have happened anyway.

This personally doesn't bother me at all, hell not like they're getting rolled on saturday.

hell some kids rolled it when it snowed when i was on campus. I just don't see why this is a big deal.

Now if this is a vehicle for someone to dress up their political opnions then i'm sure we can find a better place for that.

I refused to watch any election coverage last night. I just stayed in my room watching movies. My two roommates however were running around and cheering and yelling like it was a damn sporting event. It's what turns me off about politics. There are too many people that are just fans of the letter beside someone's name, and see everything about a candidate through democrat or republican colored glasses.

Too polarizing, and I really don't think one man can make this country a lot better. Putting your faith in a political party is dumb, IMO. That's why I stay out of it.

Well it was a challenge for anybody to come in and change the economy quickly after 2008. It doesnt work that way and it takes time. People dont realize how devastating that year was, which called for tons more regulation. The economy is what this election was about IMO. Even though the stock market is where it was 2007 levels(trading at highs), its pretty inflated and artificial. The country is pretty divided but majority of people did not think Mitt could change it any better any quicker. I would of rathered a change in the office but we are stuck with Obama for another 4 years. Have to DWI.

No doubt. However, these fools are rolling TC but dont even know they LOST because of it. A serious number of these people will have trouble getting jobs after graduation because of this jacked up economy and Oblama isnt helping. These kids are hard fricked and dont even know it.

Auburn residents have been gathering at Toomer's corner to celebrate since the '20s or before. It has always been the heart of the Auburn community, regardless of whether trees were being rolled or not. It just so happens that's how we roll now.

What Obama needs to do now is talk about the greatness of America. And how our economy is coming back strong, that we can already see signs of it. Confidence is a big part of our ecnonmy and a part that often gets underplayed. As the leader he needs to help spread confidence in our system. I think he had a good start last night.
