I think JJ will be gone if the supporters who are complaining to Gogue get even stronger next year if Gus doesnt win at least 8-9 games and at least beat GA and/or Alabama.

If not, no way is JJ around after next year....

One thing I have learned about people making over 1 MM per year; they never leave their job willingly.

Let's not forget how the last search was conducted. We distrusted JJ's judgment so badly, that we had a three man committee of ex AU players do the search instead.

This may be a duh statement but I think JJ's job depends on how well Gus does next year. If the team shows real improvement & gets 9-10 wins buying Gus some security I think that buys JJ some time. If we strugglw though it looks like JJ will be gone before Gus.

Search committees are pretty common now.

I feel a full on melt coming by Friday. If we play like garbage and name Roof DC, I may melt like no one has ever melted on the rant.

I do not want JJ to be employed by Auburn when the next football coach is hired.

I like Gus and want Gus to turn things around and stay a long time, but we need a new AD in place by next December just in case the football team goes Chizik in 2016.

I'm holding at Three Mile Island for now. if we hire Roof I will be Chernobyl to the tenth power. at that point someone would need to step in and go scorched earth on the entire athletic dept. and fire them all.

Yeah Roof is a terrible coach -- disregard that he has been gainfully employed by reputable institutions for a couple of decades now with success and respect among his peers. Message board people always know best!

Dude has ZERO answer for teams that attack the edge. In 2004 his defense would have been THE TITS. Even Alabama has adopted a lot of spread into their offense. He for whatever reason could not find an answer for it.

Talking about message board posters.. Ted Roof led Auburns defense to one of the worst statistically performing units in Auburn history. His GA tech team this year had a terrible record, and this from a running offense that eats up the clock. He's absolutely terrible at coaching and an excellent t salesman of himself.

GT was also looking to put up a good record this season after their finish last year.
