I was just hoping for something more like the image below.
There is no bezel. We could even have some nice JHS lettering above the video board.

I hate the sound box above the board..that damn thing is going to be so high in the air that audio will be strange inside the bowl

It looks permanent to me, but any chance the erector set around the board is just scaffolding?

Yea, it is a moronic design. Why they don't do speakers throughout the stadium, like almost everyone else, blows my mind.

Exactly. I'm convinced the audio system hasn't been updated since quadrophonic vinyl was all the rage. I find our approach to the stadium sound experience being the same as a trashy teenager with a giant MTX speaker box and 2000 watt Walmart amp in the back of his Jeep to be a bit concerning.

if they dont put at least some type of auxiliary speakers throughout the stadium the delay and resulting echo will be terrible.
