I don't know either. He looks bad himself. His looked so awkward in his passing and zero threat to run.
No passer on the team, so why not give JF a chance with a run dominated O. He is the only threat to keep them honest.

For me it's not about the stats, it's about the intangibles. JJ throws a pretty ball, and looks the part. But every time he gets pressure on him he freaks out. He can't step up in the pocket, sense the pressure, or extend the play and make a throw with a defender about to hit him. It is a guaranteed sack or rushed throw into coverage. He also runs with no confidence and consistently less yards than whatever is blocked for him.
Sean White on the other hand looks more confident when at QB. He does a good job with his internal clock, stepping up in the pocket, and scrambling for positive yards with nothing is there. When there is pressure or the play is breaking down, I still believe Sean White can make something of it.
It's not perfect, but give me a confident QB with all the intangibles any day of the week. That's just my opinion, but I hope to never see JJ on the field again. I think it's pretty clear JJ is a head case and that's the last thing I want in my QB.

SW is the worst red zone QB I have seen at AU. Worse than JJ.

To me the problem is not with White, he has the ability to be a good QB, however Gus will not change his scheme at all to fit what Sean can do best. We have no short to intermediate pass game. We either run the ball or try to throw it 15-20yds downfield. This is why we suck in redzone.

Other than just typing this, why? This seems to be a popular opinion on this board, but SW's number's and game play don't agree. Gus called some great plays in the RS, and SW failed to execute. He missed a wide open WR once in the end zone, and threw a pick the other time. He was only productive when CU went to a prevent D. JJ and JF both moved the O better than SW.

This is an opinion based on no information.
SW moves the ball between the 20's because at 6'0 it is easier to see the field than when you get in the red zone. Short QB's need one of two things to be effective in the red zone. They need to be quick and fast or they need a big WR to bail them out on fade routes. We don't have that WR.
SW also causes an issue for our Oline (they are average). He is zero threat to hurt you running the ball and he can't throw it deep to stretch the back end.
All this talk about changing the O to fit his skill set is insane. He may be our best option but there is no changing things to make up for his weaknesses matched with what our team lacks.

I have seen enough of SW to know he isn't better than JJ.
You are so far off base. SW in addition to being a better passer, is also a better runner than JJ.

Focusing on White is probably the best of bad options right now.
Hopefully the defense keeps us in games and we have a downhill runner step up.
I do think JF3 might be good option in the red zone.

Because of this fact

Johnson went 4-for-6 for 38 yards while throwing an interception. He had a quarterback rating of 0.7, which few knew was possible. He also ran for minus-18 yards.

I need JJ to kindly frick off. Nice guy, but he is an abortion of a college football player. I'm to the point, and I feel bad for thinking this, but I need him to get a season ending injury just to get him off my fricking tv.

It says it all when our staff thinks they have to rotate all 3 quarterbacks, and others, at the quarterback position. They all suck at doing what they're asked, and Gus Malzahn refuses to change his offense to suit the style of quarterback present.
Our offense should look like Clemson's or Houston's, not like this.

I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of Sean..along with all the other QBs as we continue to play musical chairs.

It needs to be 1) Sean White. 2) JFIII. 40) JJ
I hope I never see JJ take another snap...he is completely useless.

I love how Jeremy Johnson went into the game for a quarterback power draw on 4th down, and fricking tiptoed into the hole to get stonewalled. I lost it in the stands.
Gus Malzahn is acting like he's Cam Newton or Tim Tebow, and the guy is soft like Charmin toilet paper.

Here is our problem in a nutshell.
We need one guy getting the majority of the reps in practice with the starting unit. Design plays and an offense to his strengths and make it work. We are running 3 different and very basic offenses instead of one solid developed and cohesive offense. It shows up in our online play as well. Those guys are being asked to adjust and readjust to a new offense on a play by play basis. You can't play football this way and you certainly can't be successful at the highest levels this way. The 2009 offense was successful because Todd was the guy. In 2010 13 and 14, Cam and Nick were the guys. Every where he has been, when he has had a defined starter, he has been successful. His worst years have come trying to play qb by committee.

If Gus rotates QBs again next week I will hope that me or someone from the stands jumps on the field, runs to Gus and kicks him in the nuts and spits on his frickin glasses. Then take the frickin visor and piss on it. Hopefully I would get a chance to say frick you before I'm hauled off.
