From On3. that three years of heavy criticism was playing a part in his decision.
Nix then said publicly that he was weighing all his options. Nix said on multiple media outlets that he was continuing to weigh his options.
Those schools were UCF and Cincinnati. Bo Nix hasn’t publicly named any schools of interest, but those two, and likely others, will be in the mix for his services.

We're really not. Good luck to the kid, but I'm so relieved not to deal with this BS anymore.
Change the situation and the names on the jersey and there will still be something to deal with.
As for next year, Harsin has his work cut out for him. I still don’t get the sense that our PTB are fully committed to Harsin, and well, 6-6 isn’t going to look great for him.

So will Bo.
And I don’t believe for a second a football coach like Harsin begs any player.
Coaches just move on and fill the hole.
Finley is sleeping well tonight but he better enjoy it. I don’t see Harsin relying on him to be the starter next season.

If he goes to Gus Malzahn then that tells me all we need to know about the Nix family. They’re not in it to win.
I’m sure they’re good people, but this is mentally weak if they follow Gus.

Does anyone else love this?

No I do not love this. Looks bad for the program. Now we start the tank watch.

How does it look bad for us? He isn’t good and he knows Harsin wants better. This ain’t Gus’ program

He didn’t develop at all under Gus. He progressed more this year than previous years combined. Following Gus would be moronic if he wants to attempt to play at the next level.

It’s an opportunity to move on… nix is/was the last real connection to Malzahn and what all that represents. Short term, it could be difficult… but long term it’s probably best for the program.
I do wish we had a half functional OL for his 3 seasons… but we have to believe that will improve moving forward. Nix is/was wildly inconsistent… and is largely the same QB today as he was the day walked on campus (granted that’s not entirely on him).

Cameron Ward & Austin Davis...lets get it.

If Nix goes to play for Gus, he is a legit moron. I’m sorry but there is just no other way to put it.
He plays for Gus for two years, doesn’t really improve (probably got worse tbh), then we bring in some new guys who actually coach him a little bit and he does improve some, then he runs back to Gus? Why? Is it because Gus is more nice?

This is worse than if Tank left. We have at least another RB on the roster. We have no back-up plan at QB.

Maybe the Nix family has accepted he won't play at the next level? If he follows Gus then they obviously have.

Name another Auburn player that was a starter that left? Do I see advantages, yes, but he was the best QB we had. Need Holden to be the real deal, but would prefer not to hAve to start a Freshman.

This board is suddenly pro bo nix?
Kid did everything asked of him. He had a shite cycle of a new OC every year. Wish him the best.
However, let's not pretend like the majority of folks here wants him gone. I'm fine with it. We are fricked next year either way.
Time to move on and let Harsin get his show going.

No it doesn’t.
He made this choice. Auburn didn’t force him out.
Harsin didn’t bench him permanently. Harsin had every right to not start him the gsme after the GA St game, but he didn’t.
Bo responded.
Bo either didn’t get a firm YES, he would be next years starter or the pressure of being a legacy but on an inconsistent team made him want a fresh start.
No problem. Good luck and think u for being an Auburn guy.

Guess we now why Harsin posted this earlier today.

Hoke said he expects Tank to transfer as well. He didn't report to bowl practice today.
