Exactly. Truth is, 59% completion is not hard to replace.

I have stated this multiple times. Bo is closer to Jeremy Johnson than the elite QB that some of our fanbase thinks he is.

I think you are drawing a line there bruh. I dont think he cant be replaced. He can. Its not like he has been some Tom Brady back there.

I think its more of the timing of it all and the fact that we really have NO backups right now. Hell man, if TJ had gotten hurt late, we would be playing Loy

I like new blood at the QB position. I am a true believer that most QB's dont change a lot. They get a little better but they are what they are. Nix was what he was. A wanna be gun slinger playing in a system that did not need that kind of QB this year.

He is not a pocket passer. I dont ever think he will be a pocket passer and thus not a NFL prospect

If we are going to start all over next year with the program, and it appears that we are headed that way. Id rather us start a freshman than to use a portal guy. Its not going to equate to many wins anyway so lets get a young guy trained to play and not have to do this again at the end of next year

Screw it, Stan White > Bo

It’s never been easier to pass in today’s game, and Stan’s best year is better than Bo’s best year.

Bo never had a best year. It’s been offense in mud for three years now.

Bo’s best year was this year, when he should have lost us Georgia State.

All of you "the sky is falling" people are hilarious to me. AU is gonna be fine. Bo's completion percentage was not good. The best thing about him was his scrambling ability. You guys act like we are losing a Heisman winner. Let's compare this years Heisman winner to Bo:

Bo stats:

Pct: 61%
Yards: 2294
Yards/attempt: 7.1
TD: 11
INT: 3
Rating: 130.03

Bryce stats:

Pct: 68%
Yards: 4322
Yards/attempt: 9.4
TD: 43
INT: 4
Rating: 175.53

Bryce had almost double the yards and 32 more TD's. And look at the difference in QBR.

EDIT: I wish Bo well. I hope he has a good season wherever he goes next year and is able to make a roster in the NFL.

I wish him well. Not sure other than maybe reuniting with Gus that he’ll improve his lot in life, but that’s on him.

I am not a sky is falling guy but you did respond to my post

But I do have to ask, why in the world would you compare Bo NIx to this years heisman? Thats like saying Melissa McCarthy is not as hot as Jennifer Aniston.

I think it's more that we are losing our starter and what's left now that he's gone. The gap in productivity and talent between Bo and or backups is...well...massive.

Change Bryce to Max Johnson. A better comparison

USC alone has two promising/talented QB's who are up in the air with Lincoln Riley coming there and Caleb Williams potentially following.

And just like that, Kedon Slovis has officially entered the portal.
