Sometimes you take QB's to fill roster spots but it isn't what you want...
Kiehl was a flop, but it's hard to blame Gus though I don't believe it would have mattered.
JJ was on Gus, but it happens to QB's all the time. It's more mental than physical at the next levels.
Moseley, LOL.
Barrett, who knows...he quit.
Sean got as much out of his talent as anyone could have hoped...how is that on Gus.
Tyler got injured.

Often injured and often in trouble. Definitely the best of the group, though, no doubt.
I wish we could see him in an FAU uniform.

The point is Gus Malzahn has an excellent track record with JUCO QBs, not high-school QBs.

How is the different than basically every staff in football save a select group?
It feels like people miss on them in college and GM's miss on them "with more info" in the NFL.

Yep. Im pissed. Nephew is starting cornerback at Marist and they were going to play in the Benz tonight for the AAAA state championship. Now cancelled. Will move to a home game for the championship next friday.
Kid is very pissed off since they would have gotten to use the Falcons locker room. One time experience for a HS kid.

Seemed like they could have let teams already on site play yesterday and moved some game to today. I agree. It's a bummer for the kids.

Lol. I've seen Joey play since his 9th grade year. I'd be shocked if he's not the starting QB after next season.

For one, he’s not committed.
Second, a pro-style offense could be what he (and his family) may prefer over being a fan of Auburn. It was no secret FSU with Jimbo was a real threat.
Third, Legacy doesn’t mean much lately to Auburn.

His coach swapped him and another D1 QB throughout his high school career. Kid can make plays but I doubt he starts in 2019.

That just what his HC does. Has done it before Joey was there, and will do it after he is gone. It has been stated several times. But if the game is one the line, Joey was the one taking snaps.
When he is on the field, he makes kids look stupid. I see him doing the same at the next level. He never gets rattled either, cause he has a ton of confidence in himself (which is what kept JJ from being the QB he was in high school).

So we should disregard the #1 reason why he hasn't gotten all the QB reps?
His coach ALWAYS rotates QBs. That's just his thing. Before this year there was a 3rd QB. Gatewood was the best athlete of the bunch so he was used all over the field. This year he got a chance to only play QB & showed real improvement
Not saying he's a lock to be great but it's dumb to say "spare me the utilization line" when that's a very legitimate reason why he hasn't been the starter for all these years at his high school
