Wow, Hogville is hilarious. Top thread is a post talking about Charles Woodson winning the Heisman over Peyton as a defensive player. The OP didn't remember him or know where he was, just knew that Peyton is a superstar. 
He used it as an example to tell people that offense is more entertaining.

This scares me a little bit, especially against teams that can slow down our run game. Lack of a developed intermediate passing game has been the Achilles heel of Gus's offenses at AU.
I'm not sure if this is a function of the fact that those are all we can complete, or those are just the safe routes that Malzahn knows are more or less a sure thing and that work.
When we're running the ball like we are right now I don't think he feels like we need to take chances if we've got go to routes that work when we need them. I'd like to see a little bit more in the passing game, but as long as we're winning games, that's fine with me.
Have we run that pump fake deep route that Todd and Cam connected on so many times? I can't remember seeing it yet.

They work, though. He has been fairly open to say that if somethingis working, he will continue to do it again and again until they stop it.
No need to add plays when the ones we have are servicable.

Have they announced the game time yet?
Eta: rivals says te game is at 5 pm. This gives me much better feels. I was sure this game was going to be at 11.

With it being at 5pm, it's going to get cold. Could get below 40...I don't really know how a team preps for cold weather

Drop the temp way down in the indoor facility?

Force everybody to go 20 minutes in the ice bath before practice.

My fear is Gus getting too fancy (to prove a point or something) and that causing drives to stall. If he really wants to prove something, he'll power run it all day long
