I'm gathering people here don't care for Dan Mullen but he is clearly the second best coach in the SEC and is a QB development wiz that is consistently crafting good offenses and getting good teams out of MSU.

If I'm making a call for a new coach, I'm starting there or with a guy like Brohm who has Purdue looking good.

Even though I hate him, and AU would never hire him after the Cam stuff, Dan Mullin is a helluva coach who would wreck shite with the talent Auburn has and can get.

Florida was stupid to hire McElwain over Mullin.

I don't want to see Mullen on AU's sidelines.

First, there's the Cam stuff.

But what really makes you wonder is why no other program has gone after him. Especially UF where he helped them when a title (or was it 2 - I can't remember). That is extremely telling.

Also, what if he wants to stay there because he will always be the best MSU can get. They'll treat him like a king. Last thing I want is to get turned down by Mullen, because he'd make a huge production out of it.

Finally, I don't want him bringing that School Up North schtick here. That's about as little brother as you can get.

And Franklin isn't leaving PSU.

Does Aranda have HC aspirations?
