quote:

The Browns announced that they have promoted defensive tackle Gabe Wright from their practice squad and added him to the active roster. Wright was picked in the fourth round by the Lions last year after they dealt a 2016 third-round pick to the Eagles to move into the spot, but Detroit cut him on their way to 53 players this year.

That makes 4 Auburn players on the hapless Browns: Shon Coleman, Corey Lemonier, Ricardo Louis, and Gabe Wright.

Seems Parkey had a groin injury. That could be trouble for a kicker

Anybody watch Sammie Stonehands Coates last night?

Still his usual self. Managed to deflect one to another WR for a TD though

Saw him catch that 3rd down toward the end of the game.

He played fine. Two good catches, one bad drop, and that deflection hit more of the defender than him. Wasn't a good throw at all. Not to mention he went up against Jodh Norman most of the night. He also had a good block that got D. Williams his touchdown. Was good to see Ben call him out directly for doing a good job.

Cody Parkey will sign with the Browns, Cleveland.com reports.

Parkey lost a training camp competition in Philadelphia this year. He played three games for the Eagles last year, making three of four field goals and all seven extra points before being lost for the season with a groin injury.

How many AU players on the Browns now? 6?

Cam has been sacked six times already including a safety. Pretty sure the OL has a bounty on his head as well but at the same time, Cams pocket presence is horrible. He has no time clock in his head whatsoever and he never steps up into the pocket.

Make it 8 sacks total. Panthers sucked a dick today.

Cory Lemonier just stripped the ball from Miami and came up with fumble and Cody Parkey is about to kick what will be game winning FG for Browns.

Edit: Parkey missed. It was his 3rd missed FG of the game.

I wonder if surgery screwed him up

I see you haven't watched Cam Newton much in the NFL.

I also see you have never been introduced to Mike Shula.

As I've said before, I've been a Panthers fan since Delhomeless was quarterback. I watch every single game of the Panthers via Sunday Ticket as well. He had many coverage sacks today. He also could've stepped up into the pocket many times. His OL sucks but you eschewed out my facetious joke about that so I guess you knew that.

No, I don't care to be introduced to Mike Shula either. I did watch Cam win the MVP last year though so success is possible with Shula. Hell, last week he threw four TDs.

WTF?

Step up? There was NO fricking pocket to "step up" into! They were fricking coming at him from the front and both sides on every play, some of them with blitzes!

And MIKE RETARD SHULA was *still* calling patterns 20 yards downfield with no outlet, slants, curls, or screens.

Its like he's Gus Malzahn's retard Bama brother.

There were like 10+ called screens to Whittaker. This is how I know you didn't watch the game.

Dude, please don't lie to support your ignorant opinions. Its just embarrassing for you.

Edit: Whittaker was targeted 6 times in the game for 5 receptions. Three of those targets were with less than 2 minutes left in the game.

SOMEBODY didn't watch the game.

6 targets plus the 56 yard screen that was called back because Bengamin held on the play. Plus the passes to Tolbert and CAP. Plus Philly had one. The screens and outlet passes were definitely there.

But you just said 10+ screen were called to Whittaker because YOU watched the game.

So now you're saying there weren't 10+ screens called to Whittaker?

I thought you watched the game?

When a person says "like ten passes" he means in that ballpark. I thought more went his way but seven targets is nothing to apologize about. You're being ridiculous. Whether it was him or others, it was painfully obvious that Cam only had the underneath passes.
