Another comment on Therezie making the Falcon's squad...

https://atlantafalcons.blog.ajc.com/2015/09/05/5-things-to-know-about-the-falcons-52-man-roster/

quote:

5. Therezie impresses. Undrafted rookie safety Robensen Therezie, of Auburn, impressed the staff.

He played in 49 games with 25 starts for the Tigers while totaling 116 tackles (83 solo) with 8.5 tackles for loss, one half sack, nine quarterback hurries, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He was an honorable mention All-SEC selection in 2013 after leading Auburn with four interceptions.

The following players not noted in your OP are listed at NFL.com as being on Practice Squads:

Quan Bray (Colts)
Trovon Reed (Rams)
Jermaine Whitehead (49ers)

https://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000523505/article/practice-squad-tracker

Ryan White was cut and is not on a PS, I don't think. Same with Reese Dismukes (his name doesn't appear anywhere on the official Steelers site).

Tyronne Green (Panthers) and Chad Slade (Texans) are on IR for their teams.

I saw where Dismukes is on Steelers practice squad. Emory Blake I assume isn't on the Rams squad at all.

Actually,
quote:

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed center Barrett Jones for their practice squad on Monday, releasing former Auburn All-American Reese Dismukes to clear a spot for the former Alabama All-American.

Jones and Dismukes were waived on Saturday when NFL clubs trimmed their rosters to the regular-season maximum of 53 players – Jones by the St. Louis Rams and Dismukes by Pittsburgh.

On Sunday, the Steelers announced Dismukes as one of the 10 players on their practice squad. But on Monday, Pittsburgh announced it had signed Jones and released Dismukes.

Newton completed 18-of-31 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown with one interception. He also ran 14 times for 35 yards.

Newton was one of the 17 former Auburn players who got on the field on the opening Sunday of the NFL's 2015 season.

For Artis-Payne, Grant, Marshall, Wright and Blackson, Sunday was their NFL debut. Artis-Payne didn't get a chance to carry the ball while Grant had a 5-yard carry and a 40-yard kickoff return in the Carolina-Jacksonville game. Blackson came up with a sack, caused a fumble and made three tackles in his inaugural game – a 42-14 victory for the Titans over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cam's receivers dropped at least 5 passes. One of'em was a wide-open TD pass. The refs called one of his TD passes back, saying Greg Olsen committed OPI (which was bullshite). He should have had 3 TD passes but the record books say only 1.

Utterly amazing.

Is Blackson gonna be one of those rare souls who is a better professional than college player?

Cam is looking really good in the second quarter. Throwing laser strikes to his receivers.

This even after his receivers dropped at least 3 first downs today.

Over 300 yards passing today. 2 passing TDs. 1 rushing TD on a naked bootleg.

He must have two picks then. I saw him pick another pass like an hour ago at the gym.
