So who is it? Only thing I see is online. Some click bait beat writers that do this shite every time we have a poor season. Now players and obviously former coaches have jumped in with complaints. The university is investigating.

So who are these people that are attacking his character? Haven’t seen one legit media person, online or writer even touch the “affair” shite. Multiple sources from Boise and Auburn have gone on the record to say what a pile of garbage it is to work for Harsin.

So tell me one of the big bad boogeymen that’s purr there. You can’t. So let it play out and see what happens.

I don’t think Harsin should be the coach because he won’t do the required work to compete in this league he thinks he can do it his way which doesn’t work here. It’s that simple.

If he’s violated some type of ethics issue he shouldn’t get the buyout. If he hasn’t he probably will. Not sure why everyone gotta make a huge deal about it. The facts will come out whether in a statement, in actions, or in court.

No clue if coordinating seems all came from some post on another board about an affair. Media started looking into it and got the cold shoulder implying something that was going on. Speculation started running rampant and each day a little piece gets added.

So you tell me was it coordinated or is the university just running an investigation for no reason?

I don’t think Harsin is the guy to get it done here. Rest of the crap I have. I idea about just like everyone on here. I was down with the hire until fall practice and we hadn’t reached out to some players I knew was leaning AU and would have committed. I blew it off as well just hadn’t gotten around to getting to see and make an official offer from this staff. Then I started hearing nothing of coaches visiting around birmingham in the fall for fall scrimmages and such. So I was like ok maybe they feel the need to address what is currently on the team more. Then we start the season couldn’t get visits from middle range sec recruits on campus for games. Then stupid decisions in most games that we lost. Combine that with losing starters on you team. Then a slightly decent early signing day to appear a decent class yet went to shut when we didn’t close out on anyone on NSD. Complaint from players and not for a bad season but for bad treatment. So they were called soft. Hell some complaining was going on from players that are former and still current on IG. That was back in December or very early January. Most chalked it up to a bad look by the players.

So I jumped off the train back when I saw the recruiting and recruiting effort lacking. Some after the 6-7 season. Others have jumped off now that it has been pointed out more some of the issues that Harsin has. And now it’s come to an apex of all issues being pointed out by about 60 percent of the fanbase. The Harsin supporter or people that don’t want to admit they were wrong when multiple issues were being pointed out refuse to acknowledge all the Harsin failures. And want to create this boogeyman narrative that they can’t backup. Trust me if the real money pullers want him gone he’s gone. But now it appears there is an investigation going on and we don’t know the allegations for that investigation.

Even with the issues I have yet to call for the firing of Harsin. Do I think he should remain as coach nope. Do I think he can get it turned around nope. Do I think he can stack talent nope. So for me as long as he’s here there is no hope just falling further and further behind. I let the money folks make the hiring and firing decisions.

Multiple people have also defended him from those same organizations. Witness the A.D. from Arkansas State who came to his defense when Barrett Sallee’s article came out yesterday.

So you can’t have it both ways, Corch. You can’t out of one side of your mouth say, “who are these people saying this?”, And then turn around with “Multiple sources from Boise and Auburn have gone on the record”.

You either like Harsin or you don’t. You believe in his approach or you don’t.

But synthesizing all this information, it looks like to me that the ego of not finishing high enough for some peoples liking in recruiting rankings, coupled with losing five games in a row coupled with a more brusque direct approach with players and coaches (of which some like or at least appreciate, and some don’t) is too much to take and has manifested itself in this witchhunt to get rid of the guy 14 months after we hired him, even after saying we needed a “culture change”. The stickler is that there really is no “cause” to fire him at this point.

So, because human beings can be pieces of shite, the power brokers float rumors and innuendo out to, “create” reasons.

Most people would cower under such pressure, but they fricked with the wrong dude, and like him or not Harsin is not going to take it lying down. For that and that alone many people have come to admire him in this charade, I among them.

He is right to stand his ground and I hope he gets every nickel out of their pocket he can get whether he ever coaches another down of football at Auburn or not. That my friend, is “a spirit that is not afraid”.

I just wonder if there will be fall-out beyond just Harsin. The whole Allen Greene situation is very weird to me. According to AU's own press releases, he seems to be totally out of the investigation and I wonder how he feels about that. And don't hand me the "well he hired him so it's a conflict of interest." bullshite. AD's who have hired coaches have been involved in investigations against them and have fired the same coaches they hired.

If Greene is forced out over this, I hope he writes an expose and goes on 60 minutes. He won't, but we can hope.
