Got into a twitter wormhole and ended up finding Jakell's cousins timeline. She posted that "they got the boys that killed my cousin", so I hope they really have someone in custody.

Any idea of a possible motive?... several gunshots suggests he was targeted, but really it could be anything.

Was Mitchell having some other issues? He got kicked out of the AU Donahue dorms earlier this year and didn't go to the team banquet.

I know the dorm thing is true. He broke a door off the hinges while chasing Stephen Roberts in the dorm. He had been suspended from the team, but was get a second chance. I think he moved back in the dorm yesterday.

He did indeed move back into the dorms yesterday, and was in the process of being reinstated onto the team.

Also, there was apparently another fight at Sky Bar among some of the players (which included Duke Williams — who was also not allowed at the banquet) on Friday night. And one again last night as well.

So did Jakell have an anger issue?
Do we not offer these kids other kind of assistance to learn different behavior patterns once a destructive/negative behavior is identified? Not saying that is the case here just curious overall. I also get that the school may offer many opportunities to players and students but aren't taken advantage of.

That's just what I was told by someone who was there, and why Duke Williams was not allowed to attend the banquet.
ETA: For further clarification, Duke Williams got into a fight Friday night, and some of the football team got in a fight Saturday night (RUMOR). All at Sky Bar.

Who really knows? I will say it's much harder to keep tabs over each individual football player obviously because of the sheer number. It's difficult to comprehend
