Every time a CTT team took the field we knew there was an opportunity for victory, that hasn't been a consistent feeling since he left...

There was also the opportunity to lose to the shitty Arkansas team the next week.

In all fairness, no one could have expected the epic collapse of Jeremy Johnson

Respectfully sir, I disagree.

I am not a college coach by any stretch of the imagination, but to witness the fundamental things that were the root cause of his 'collapse' last year, and then go back and see those same mistakes occurring against Arkansas in 2014...just leads me to believe we're not quite as good at identifying or developing talent as a college football coach should be at what should be a shoe-in top 15 program. Especially one that is routinely deemed an offensive genius.

And I absolutely love Gus.

Last year we went 6 - 6.

And we had much easier schedule (Clemson and amen corner on the road this year).

We lost 2 offensive tackles to the NFL.

We lost 2 wide receivers to the NFL (yes one was a head case).

We lost our 3 top running backs.

We lost our top 2 tacklers.

We lost the best defensive coordinator in college football.

And you're mad because objective (ie sober) folks don't see us being a better team? Hunh? That don't make no kinda sense.

frick WM

Those 30 free yards off a short run by Jacob Coker pushed Alabama into field goal range, and allowed the Tide to extend their lead from one to two scores, up nine at 22-13 with less than eight minutes left. That's a big deal.

Nobody ever agrees with me when I say his 15 yard penalty cost us our position in last year's IB, but it's the truth. frick WM

WM will tell you today that he shouldn't have done that I can imagine. He was only trying to protect his players though.

Yea, i mean I understand that part. But a grown man has to know how to control his temper, that's some 5 year old type stuff

You do realize you are complaining about the game where Muschamp held the national championship winners to a TD below their average even with that penalty right?

That's just WM. A year ago we loved to see his intense emotions when he was celebrating and jumping around like a kid, so it's not fair that we get pissed because he also has negative intense emotions.

We weren't winning regardless of that penalty. The reason we were in a position to make that call meaningful was because his defense.

Complain all you want but I would rather have a coach who isn't afraid to yell at a ref if they are railroading us.

Also, the refs calling a penalty on a coach for yelling at them is pretty BS.

i agree with this. but knowing WM, he probably deserved it

Even if WM never got penalized, I'm willing to bet we would've never scored anyway. Just like the Panthers v. Broncos, the one TD we were chasing seemed like a 21 point hole with the way our offense was sucking it up.

Idk man, I felt like we were right in that game the whole time, which is why that penalty, deserved or not, still haunts my mind. For as bad as everyone around here thinks we were last year, we sure played most teams really freaking close. Gives me hope.

POSI'S UNITE!!!!!!
