If it truly came down to a "me or him" ultimatum, Gus did the only thing he could.
It should have never come to this, as Lashlee has been useless since he's been here, and that is Gus' fault.
That being said, anyone gives a boss an ultimatum, said boss has to say see ya later. You can't have that authority undermined.
