There you go, Gus. You lost last year, so you might as well provide Alabama with some bulletin board material for this year too. Don’t be surprised when Alabama puts up 60 on Auburn this year.

Ain't gonna happen without a QB. Kiffin is gonna need to pull another rabbit out of a hat this year.

Alabama is going have a helluva defense this year; supposedly the best Saban has ever fielded. Gus better have that offensive unit prepared.

So the same as all the previous years pre-season?

Accepted and done for my part.

But, unlike you, I'm glad our head coach hasn't "accepted it". I hope it eats at his guts so much he does everything in his power to turn it around.

I wish Gus not only said that but stood up and whipped out his dick while he said it. I don't mind the coach getting sassy every so often. He was having a chat and shared how he saw the IB last year. Let his guard down. Dude can't be perfect.

My view can obviously be found somewhere in the middle of Lanier's and Rocky's.

Your being a little dramatic bro. Nobody could be "alright" in their gut about how we blew that game. But some things you say in public and somethings you have to sugar coat.

Like it or now. He has to be diplomatic. We have chastised Bert for doing it.

He does, but my only point is it was rare for him to do that and doesn't require a thrashing or a rebuke. Bert says Stuff and acts that way whenever he opens his mouth.

Huge difference between the two.

That is probably the most correct statement made in this thread.

frick Bama. I don't give a shite if Saban tattoos Gus' statement on all his players' asses. We do get them at home this year. And I hope we beat the shite out of them. This is our year. It's the Iron Bowl. The glass is already full w emotion. This does nothing. We should be good enough and confident enough to tell even Saban " we comin." (Or in this case "we'll be here when you come.")

That's how I understood it, but other fans will want to read what they will between the lines.

Fact is, Auburn should have scored 60 on them. The amount of missed opportunities inside the redzone with our offense falls below what's expected of our offensively minded coach. You don't score 44 points and run up a video game stat of 630 yards total offense and lose, and that bothers him.

I don't read it like that at all. I read it as he saying that if we wanted to win we should have scored more. I don't read it as him saying that we could have/should have hung 60 on them.

The ajc will never ever have a championship to write about.

Well. I take that back.

Gt could probably win the acc and get into the playoffs and then anything could happen.

Reporters crack me up... they want coaches to be more real in interviews/PCs... just so they can rip them for what they say.

What malzahn said was the damn truth... not sure why it's a big deal.

Considering the offense had 630 yards total offense and something like 500 of that was through the air, we SHOULD have hung more points on them, but the real problem is we couldn't stop them either.

So Muschamp is here to help with that. Stop with the coulda woulda shoulda BS.
