No shite they are. They are the Georgia equivalent of al dot com. They are pandering to their readers.

Gold Jerry Gold...

Last year’s Iron Bowl was a crazy shootout, with Alabama outlasting Auburn, 55-44. For whatever reason, on Monday Auburn coach Gus Malzahn pulled a sore loser’s move:

“We should’ve put 60 on them,” Malzahn said, according to a report by Brandon Marcello of Al.com.

There you go, Gus. You lost last year, so you might as well provide Alabama with some bulletin board material for this year too. Don’t be surprised when Alabama puts up 60 on Auburn this year.

Not to mention, in the world of “Shoulda, Woulda, Coluda”, what would Auburn’s 2013 season look like if not for the fluke kick return off a missed field goal in the Iron Bowl, or the fluke Hail Mary against Georgia? Those two plays helped the Tigers to sneak into the BCS title game in a year when Alabama was the better team and deserved to represent the SEC.

Instead, it was the Tigers who lost to Florida State in the title game and thus ending a dominant seven-year championship run for the SEC.

Putting up 60 points against an elite SEC opponent is no easy feat. So tune in to the 2015 Iron Bowl to see if either Auburn or Alabama can do that.

I love Gus as our head coach, but he does come off as a whiner sometimes...

Meh coaches say dumb things all the time. Gus is normally pretty good about these things. But the article reads like the author has a pretty bad personal vendetta. Another reason I get my news elsewhere and haven't bothered with the ajc for over 10 years.

He did in this case. He usually does great. Gives them a little coach speak and moves on. I think his emotions got the best of him. The whole "we get them at home this year" was a little much. Why would he want to get Bama fired up...

Just let shite happen

I'm glad Gus is mad. His red zone play calling had been suspect to say the least

He came across as being pissed the frick off and blaming the side of the ball he is most responsible for to me.

And I like that.

^^^This^^^ The reporter was following Gus all day. So sue him I guess for getting off message.

The AJC is one to be correcting anyone, on anything.

When Lewis Grizzard died, I cancelled my sub, and never looked back. He was the only thing worth reading, and even he was a flea bitten mutt!

Guck Feorgia!!

Yeah, this wasn't part of a sit down interview of any sort. But anyway, Gus allowed it on the record so he's on the hook for whatever he catches

You missed it, dude.

The message is now "Gus is a whiner."

No one said that. It was said that the interview made him sound that way on this topic.

He sounded like he was making excuses instead of just saying we missed some opportunities and hopefully that wont happen next time

We "Should have" scored bla bla

"We get them at home this year". Some how will improve the redone offensive play calling. bla bla

Just accept we didnt do what we needed to do , give them credit and move on. No bulletin board material needed
